Ever ask an elder why there are two gods described in the Bible?
by free2beme inface it, there is one very true statement that can be said about the bible.
that is, that there are two completely different gods described.
the old testament, is talking about a angry, vengeful and wrathful god.

If they have a nuke, then they do not have a way to deliver it this far. They would have to carry it into the USA and that is not something easy.
Nuke's can be no larger than a suitcase and assembled any where. I can only hope if this happens it will be a remote part of Texas............soon Dont think this will happen on the 22nd as there is no one at my door telling me so......

Suggestions Please
by nonjwalltheway inmy wife and i have been married for over 10 years and we have three sons.
she grew up in a jw family.
he sisters, brother, mother, aunts, uncles and other extended family are mostly jw.

I like to take the more direct approach, You could tell her as the head of the house(her head ship) In the best Interest of your family she should not go to the hall or studies.
Or ask her questions she cant questions she cant answer. Example: If the society is Gods
only channel for spreading the good news why have they been spreading the false news for the past \
100+ years.Your hope here is to get her to think for herself and not have the society think for her.

Symbolic generation. Does it extend batting time for WTBTS?
by Spectrum inbefore coming on this forum i didn't know that the jws had changed the generation definition from literal to symbolic and i obviously predicted that this religion will be finished when that last 1914 codger dies.
when i found out that they had changed their definition i thought, bloody hell this religion is going to go on forever.
then i thought that no, they are going to fade out, then i settled on, they are going to survive just like the catholics and orthodox.
