  Should law enforcement agencies stop using tasers?

  on tuesday, a 29-year-old on his way to pick up his parents at the local airport became involved in an automobile accident.

  when police arrived he became uncooperative and so they stunned him with a taser gun.

  now he's dead.. there have been other recent reported deaths associated with the use of a taser.

  I have to agree with minimus on this one. they might just as well shoot them with their service revolvers. There are more people dying from tasers then real guns. I say ban them altogether.

  The Blood Issue Logically and Scripturally

  lets for the sake of argument say that god views blood sacred and having a blood transfusion would be a sin.

  the scriptures teach us that jesus shed blood is a ransom sacrifice that covers all of our sins.

  the only unforgivable sin is rejecting christ after accepting him, therefore becoming apostate, correct?

  NEVER get gifts from my hubby!!

  so tomorrow is my 9th yr anniversary and my hubby (semi-active jw) has never bought me anything for our anniversary.

  he may have gotten me a card once or twice.

  last year i gave him cufflinks and told him i was getting him something 3 days before our anni.

  What did you learn as a JW that helps you in your work today

  note: if you are cautious about being outted then be very careful what you post.. the biggest thing i learned was sign language.

  after i left i had a few jobs interpreting.. public speaking - didn't help me at all - that could be because speaking to someone else on the platform doesn't gives women an opportunity to address the audience.

  i took a intro course in public speaking that was far better than 22 years of the ministry school.. i'm thinking .
