  i think that every one on this site goes way over the top calling jehovahs wittnesses names you spend more time trying to prove them wrong than you do prasing god.i mean is this your purpose in life.if you no more about the bible than the wittnesses then go straght a head and speak.but dont act like a spoiled brat calling people names.a lot of people on this site will belevae what they want to beleave because it suits there lifestyle lets get to the root of whats realy in your hearts

  i would hope that Jesus (the bible) is the Christ. So if He misleads us, he can accept the responsibility for His actions, and ours. I wouldn't want that on my resume!

  is it killing 42 children because they called prophet elisha a bald headed man (which he probably was, so they did ot even lie)?.

  is it killing 70000 innocent israelites because the king david does a counting of the people?

  (it is hard to keep the numbers right if the fluctuate so much).

  I rather liked it as well. The thees and thous threw me. The footnotes when searched down became very "eye-opening" to me. I realized, like a "politician" different words mean different things to different people. I used those to ask "What does "fire" mean to Jehovah"? I found it to mean "Holy Spirit". Not a "nuclear Holocaust" as it was translated to me at the hall. Ooops, did I do something "wrong" there?

  Many have been shunned for asking questions as well. They wanted to go searching for Jehovah, yet they were discourged and punished for doing so. Frightened to death. The Jesus I obey would not have any part of that, even called the witnesses of His day down for it. Are the witnesses better than the other sinners, or just better at hiding their sins, to elevate themselves over the repentant ones who KNOW they need forgiveness. Witnesses have a different Savior than we do. Their is someone to come rid them of all the problems and mistakes they were unwilling to try to fix. Ours is someone to fix us, heal us, so we can help others. I wonder how Jehovah "defines" a "Savior". Because that is what REALLY matters.

  There is a fine line between "reproving" and "abusing". It changes based on which end your on I suppose. My mother is a witness, and I love her very much. I hate the idea of a bunch of strangers in Bethel who never have (or will) met my dad trying to tell her how to handle him and my little brothers. I watch her accept it as the word of God. They are trying to discourge the individual from growing by learning from experience. Instead replacing that with "control" and "organization". I love the people everyone of them. I hate the idea. Is this "wrong" in your eyes? Is it "wrong" in Bethal's eyes?

  So is the goal "obedience" and "control" or "loyalty" and "freedom"? To take away a individuals "individuality", and replace it with "organization", is futile.

  Bethel doesn't know every individual person and what they gone through in their lives that have made them "unworthy" in their eyes. How can they issue a broad statement as a "rule" and possibly expect it to help everyone? Then damn them when they disobey it trying to find another way? How could they grow wiser, and stronger if they always have you to tell them "right" from "wrong"? Problem is, go too far and you will find yourself suddenly VERY busy trying to make everyones decisions for them. Blaming them, when they do what you told them, and it doesn't work. Is it possible, we could find "freedom" through "loyalty"?

  especially if there is no such thing as time or space.

  is "purpose" something which is only meaningful in a world with a serial time line, because outside of it, there is no passage of time and therefore no cause and effect?

  if that was made known to the american people before it happened, many more people would have died than did.

  oohhh. that is really odd. I sounds like where we are now with our president! It is like their goal is total authority and obedience, rather than loyalty, and freedom for their people. Bethel trys to suppress individual growth, and replace it with "organization". Do they know how my dad was raised? Do they know the correct way my mother should deal with him? Do they come out with an awake "How to correctly deal with Alfred Redden"? Or do they try to explain him in a general sense and allow interested people to "judge" that is "his" case. Or "they are talking about him"....or what?

  I suspect this goal of theirs, like famous movie stars, is in fact their worst nightmare. Once they attain it all their time will going to tell the "robots" they have made for themselves, every little move to make, because they will be too scared of the consequences to dare try to make a decision on their own. Think and develop their minds and judgement? Why? Then they won't need us anymore?

  What happens when the president of a Ford, starts telling all the techs, and salesmen, and parts guys to do things this way or else? Think things will run smoothly? After all, He is the "president" so he must know all. Right?............
