what will happen when the gang mebers, murderers and others prisoners become jw, and then sooner or later will learn that this is man made religion, false prophets lies and make ups?
will they take revange on the wt leaders, or will they slaughter all cult members in anger?
Jesus wouldn't. But I guess they have the final say. It would be a shame to kill them, think of all the good people who love them, who would be getting hurt too. I don't want my mom killed because she listened and followed them.
Guess that is what it boils down to....As bad as I hate what they are doing...would I sacrifice my mom to stop them? HELL NO! I would find another way to stop them!!

is it possible to put a stop to crime, yet allow people the freedom to choose to commit one if they choose.. or do we scare them with threats to the point they abandon and are willing to throw away that freedom, and abolish everyone elses for "safety".

Yeah me too...
My dad had me arrested for talking about these things to my mom and little 16 year old brother. He told me to leave, but refused to tell me what I said wrong, or explain why he wanted me to leave. I asked how I was supposed to know so I didn't do it again next time. He told me to leave "or else" and started screaming at me, and called the cops. They arrested me for "criminal trespassing". the kicker is, my mom went to the meeting left me there, and asked me to talk to him while she was gone. So I obey my mom, question my dad, and go to jail.
Is this a "free" country?

as witnesses it was the 'catch all' phrase.
we blamed illness, crime, economic probs, job issues, marital probs, and whatever else came down the pike as the fault of the wicked old system.
recently a former friend of us, a long time witness had a stroke.
I had 2 witnesses, explain to me yesterday...That the tree in eden was like a mother who made two cakes, one for the children, one for some guests. the children were at fault for eating it and disobeying the mother while she was gone. EVEN though the oldest child is the one who convinced them eating part of the cake was ok. If you punish and kill the babies from eating from it, are they ever going to know why you punished and killed them? Shouldn't the oldest child who misled them bear the brunt if not all all the responsibility for the babies "sin"?
They did NOT want to hear this...and insisted the babies should be punished too, but could offer no explanation on how or why they felt this way. I hope Jehovah does not feel this way, and they are truly "false prophets", as they are bearing witness against THEMSELVES as well!

OBL must be good at convincing others to follow him, and SH was better at making people scared of him to follow him. Which is more powerful?
I don't remember SH enlisting any suicide bombers to protect his country. Why is that? SH had scud missles, OBL has suicide bombers. Which is the greater power?

Is that what free will is? the ability to question, or disobey God, or earthly authorities.
Seems to me though....If you make a law to look out for the best interest of someone, you should have no problem explaining it to them, and no problem with their questions about it.
You can then choose to obey, or refuse.

Which life is more valuable? a "safe" prisoner in a 6X10 protective custody cell? Or the free man with a home , 3 kids, 2 cars, and a beautiful loving wife.
Which is going to be easier to "control" or "manipulate"?
Which is going to give his life up for something better faster?

I wonder what Jehovah enjoys more, people like Richie above, or mindless unquestioning, obedient JW's?
Guess it would be like comparing your computer to your "bad" 5 year old son.
I am with Richie, I want to challenge Him, even if He does win all the time. If He desired me to be a JW "slave" I am afraid I have let Him down. I will try to give Him a good game of chess though.
It would be nice if we knew exactly what HE wants us to be.
Anyone have the ability to expand on this, with simple term and words I can understand. I am no philosopher, scientist, or bio chemical engineer. Can you translate down to a 35 year old mechanic please so I can understand better?
