why not?.
I give blood regularly too. What made me do it was hearing about a woman at our local hospital who needed 23 units (yes 23 units!) after haemorrhaging in child birth. I figured that was 23 donations so I'd better get my skates on!
I also like giving my JW sister a lift in my car which has got a GIVE BLOOD sticker in the window.
on tv news the other day they showed a scene of a bull in a bull ring jump into the seating area and maul the blood thirsty crowd.
i tell yah, when i saw it jump into the crowd i was cheering for the bull as it thumped away at its persecutors.
well they came for blood and the got it, not quite the way they had anticipated but it was a crowd pleaser all the same.
Yep - good on the bull.
I wonder if this got a big cheer in Spain?
people from all over the united states enjoy the taste of a samoa cookie or a thin mint.
in fact, during the winter campaign of the girl scouts of the usa, people spend millions of dollars on these delicacies.
linda* (*not her real name) said that she buys no less than 18 boxes of the cookies every two weeks during the campaign.
Buying girl scout cookies would be indirectly funding a right wing paramilitary organisation.

raymond franz was a member of the governing body and was a jw for many years till he left.. he wrote a book which provides a great insight into jw's but what is really good about it is he isn't bitter when he comes across and so far i am really enjoying the read.. also in there are copies of letters sent from him to the society or the other way around and i recommend anyone who can find it should read it!.

Interesting when JW's say how 'vicious' the apostates are. Guess they haven't read Ray's books....
Exactly, but some of them HAD to have read the book, whether for professional curiosity, legal reasons or whatever. It's such an explosive book for a JW that some reading it to see how "apostate* it was, must have had their eyes opened and consequently defected themselves. ??

i've been receiving messages from brother and sisters asking why i'm deleting my account.
i really did not write my reasons for deleting my account because i don't want anyone to feel obligated to do the same.
fact of the matter is that, i still feel that myspace may very well be a conscious matter.
My congregation will be having a local needs talk [this week] warning about the dangerous of the Internet with a special concern on Myspace.
I'd love to be at that meeting. I should hope they'll mention this site in their "talk" as well.

I do sometimes wonder with the WTS and their fear of the internet if at one stage they advised witnesses not to look at the TV or go to the movies.

i dont know if you guys noticed or not.
but there is a general consensus among my friends and some witnesses that i talk to that there is something almost inherently wrong with californian witnesses.
