  Do they notice who no longer gives donations?

  because i haven't put in a single dime for over a year now in the box at the kh.

  the usual custom is to put money in there right after the meetings.

  but heck, i already spend so much in car fuel just to attend - i don't care really if the gb starves and dies.. oops.. anyway, do the elders take note who's donating and who's not?.

  When assigned to a brother, the assistant should be a member of his family or a brother in
  the congregation. The student should choose a greeting appropriate for the area.

  Any ideas why this is being said? Why no women as assistants?

  Hi Gayle, I like your idea about publishers visiting the islands in that month, but wouldnt the publishers send their stats back to their home country, rather than putting in a local report?

  Interestingly in the presentation section it gives options to offer 'this months offer of the Watchtower' or 'this months offer of the Awake'. I thought starting in January there would only be one of the magazines available and the other magazine being published and offered the next month.

  I went to London recently and as I came up out of Westminster underground station there they were. I stayed in the area for 15 mins taking tourist pics and as far as I could see, not one person took anything from them or even spoke to them.

  life is hard enough when you battle blood cancer but is an unnecessary evil put upon good people by this evil cult.

  I guess we just have to be thankful that the courts now seem to be protecting the kids from this destructive cult, overturning the parents wishes to let their kids die.

  Totally agree Terry. I have retired now, and was in fact able to retire six years early because of so many inprovements in my life. I marvel every day about how lucky I am to be living at this time. In my view the BEST time in human history.

  I tried to make an elder feel guilty for shunning his 2 children.

  i ran into an elder the other day at walmart.

  he's a fairly good man and has a wife that is very sickly.

  so sickly in fact i don't know how she's holding on.

  I think as well it makes a difference why the children were disfellowshipped. Was it really because they were totally unrepentant sinners, or did they simply say they no longer wished to be JWs. Or maybe they were disfellowshipped for something the bible says nothing about, like smoking maybe. JWs have a long list of their very own rules which the bible says nothing about.
