I have always thought this was an absolutely ridiculous idea!
I can't count the arguments I have had with my husband about that subject and the asinine statement that making birth control and condoms available to kids encourages promiscuity...he believes it does, it just burns me up....if they are going to have sex, and they will, it's a natural and normal thing to do, It is the responsibility of adults and especially the parents of these children to make sure they are protected when they do it!
I do hate to see children as young as 13 and 14 having sex though, they are not mature enough and their body's are not developed enough for that!

i am curious about who (after leaving) went on to other religions vs. lost faith completely.
once i started questioning the wt society, i began to question everything.
as jw's we are taught from childhood up that other religions are false - so it seems easy, after elliminating the last one, to be rid of religion altogether.. .

That's exactly what happened to me, I lost faith completely in all religion and the bible.
I have no proof there is or isn't a God, however if the God of the bible is the "True God" I want nothing to do with him.
I always had a problem with reconciling the god of the old testament with what Jesus taught in the new testament anyway.

Just my 2 cents worth....I thought Bill Clinton was a good president, when he left office the economy was in good shape and we were not in the 6th year of a senseless war.
His morals in my opinion were that of an alley cat, his private life left much to be desired but he was a good president.
