I can relate to that one.
Recently I parked my car at a meter, stepped out of the car, locked it and shut the door. I was in a hurry so by the time I had gotten out, locked it and shut the door
I soon realized I had left the vehicle in neutral and hence the car started rolling backwards. I stuck my bag behind the wheel to prevent it from hitting the car immediately behind
me, then proceeded to unlock the car and put it in park. The best part was that the car I would have hit had I not stopped my car, was occupied,, the driver was laughing at me.
It was great!

i'm a messianic and i'm trying to get an idea of what jw teach without all the prejudice of the mainstream gossip line.
is there any out there defending the jw beliefs on line?.

Is the WatchTower really considered by JW to be the final authority even over scripture?
Yes, ultimately, the watchtower corp is the final say. They will use scripture to back it up, however they will use scriptures out of context if necessary and often it's quite necessary.
They claim that the watchtower corp is god's chosen mouthpiece, so therefore what they say, goes!
Ultimately, in my opinion, most witnesses are doing a passive form of worship to the watchtower corp without even realizing it.

i am struggling to define the meaning of or in my life.. is it just me?

There is no purpose, there's just life.
However... I do believe that living your life in a meaningful way is fullfilling. The definition of meaningful depends on each individual.
So IMO, it's up to each of us to find the most fullfilling, enjoyable way to live our owns lives.

i would ban him because he is giving people false hope and info.
Trust me, my hope does not come from men, whether it be D. Christopher or the idiots at bethel.
Second, if D. Christopher is having mental issues, instead of being a typical J-dub and discouraging medical help for such a disease you should encourage medical help.
And don't tell me that J-dubs encourage medical help for depression, I've never in my life seen a witness encouraging another to get therapy or medical treatment for depression.
Also, whoever this is posting the message,, get a life and go do something productive.

Do Individual JWs Pay For The Publications They Distribute?
by Joe Grundy inexcuse my ignorance, and i've read on boards about the us not selling/inviting contributions issue, but do individuals jws in effect pay for the publications they give out?
if so, is that only for their magazines or for hardback books as well?
how is this organised, please?.

wherever the huge publishing company know as the Watchtower can charge without being subject to taxes, they do charge.
I guess the WTS is exempt from paying 'ceasar's things to ceasar'
