  You know, Witnesses haven't cornered the market on being wrong.

  i have been out of the witness religion since the 1990's and i see from reading former witness sites that it is common for people to do something i used to do.

  which was that i made a big deal out of all the wrong things the witnesses did and do.

  i thought it was some how my responsiblity to tell others when i had the chance, and even when i made the chance, about all the things i knew.

  As more and more critics of the JW religion came out of the woodwork, read all sorts of anti-JW banter, and then would come into the now defunct JW yahoo chat room to parrot the criticism they read, I eventually got really sick of it. So for 50% amusement and 50% to correct certain mistakes JW critics make, I decided I would facetiously present myself as a JW apologist and answer the critics with blunt, pro-JW rhetoric.

  This accomplished a few things. Primarily, for me, it was super funny. Also, certain inaccurate or at least opinionated and not exact charges against the NWT or CT Russell or whatever that are circulated on the internet were responded to, cause heck, I believe in truth even if I gotta defend the Witnesses, and thirdly I found that the best way to prevent people from thinking of becoming a Witness convert is to act like one.

  Ken, such is what Morgan Freeman's "God" tried to get across in Bruce Almighty.

  The WT misunderstands a lot of Jesus' sayings and parables. Like keeping your eye simple. I remember reading a comprehensive understanding of what that meant to Jesus' audience in a bible commentary publication and the WT's application of it seemed way off. If I remembered the details I'd share but I just woke up from 18 hours of sleep and suddenly feel nauseous.

  and almost 6 months since officially da'ing myself and stepping away from friendships that i had worked at for a decade.

  actually, they stepped away from me, but whatever.. it's been a heady year for me.

  your subject title is very chuck klostermanish. ever read his books?

  if you ever come out this way, southern erie and canadagua counties have great areas for camping....... or if you travel to toronto i'm only a couple hours and 2 speeding tickets away. my house is empty 'cept for me and the cats so it's an open house to anyone. you'd be a fun guest fer sher. cheers

  i suppose if you curl your finger inward your could punch someone or something with the knuckle... in fact when I had a car that's how I'd press the buttons on an ATM, holding up one hand with the other and punching the keys with my knuckle

  Thanks. I recorded that a while ago. 3 guitars, bass, drums, a little distortion in my singing to help hide the flat notes. I used a 16 track session mixer and most of it was done in one take with very little editing. I posted it cause the old Yahoo chat group got a kick out of it and after my open heart surgery I had tons of time and couldn't play with my band. It's obviously not a professional job but since I can't form a simple chord now that my wrists and fingers don't work, oh I gotta little nostalgic and remembered I had recorded that song, along with some Smashing Punpkins and Jethro Tull covers, and even an instrumental solo effort I wrote myself. Ahh the good old days when I had the mental motivation and physical ability to pull off some "music."

  I didn't read the whole thread so maybe my comments 'aren't appropriate at this juncture.' (hehe) My mom was saying today that when Hugo hit and they had to rebuild their economy boomed, and people are forecasting that when New Orleans is rebuild, think of all the supplies, plumbing, furniture, etc etc that will go into it. Some people are gonna make some money and who knows, maybe in 4-5 years some of those "underpriviledged" might have their dream house.

  car accident

  i lost control of my 1976 buick and smashed into a guardrail.

  the car is totalled, with my arms and hands as they are i shouldn't have been driving anyway.

  had head injuries... yeah just add to my existing head probelms.
