geeze, the memorial to remember your place in the organization jesus christ is next tueday i think.......anyone else getting roped into going besides me?

i'm trying to talk my brother into going....just so i'm not the only slacker there.

i know whats going to happen.

This is my second one to miss.

I did go to a church one last year and this year since I'm a member of a church, I'll be eating it that Sunday before. (yes, I'll actually partake! )

to me there is a definite difference in my generation and the one coming after me, when i graduated you basically had three choices.

military, college or a fulltime job which meant more than 40 and you were expected to grow up, today kids are seen as postponing this for years, it reminds me of the proverbs 29:21 kjv says .

21 he that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.. when is it time to push the little birds from the nest and tell them to flap real hard?.

I shampooed all the carpets this morning and doing it again tonight, we are filling it with NEW furniture, a HD flat screen TV, hooking up my sound surround and I cant stop smiling.
I was thinking of becoming a nudist just for a day with the wife.

I love it! Way to go.

My parents made it so difficult -- That I was planning my escape since mid-teen years. I can't imagine wanting to stay until you're 30.

so, i go to my jw uncle's funeral for obvious reasons!

after the funeral my family invites me to dinner, something we haven't done for some time (probably 8 years or so) as i'm considered disassociated not disfellowshipped.

i guess this is allowed per the new jw policy but since that crap changes from time to time i'm not sure.

It means that the annoited will get some special notice from Jehovah that they are going to go to heaven.

The convention is held below the hill from my church ... I always get to look down at the parking lot knowing my parents are there as I walk in the door to church ...

I always joke to my church friends asking them if they would like to picket.

Wow. Happy 7th Birthday!!

7 years ago I was a high school senior. I was irritated because my parent still wouldn't let me date. I was disappearing every single afternoon to go "see"..(ahem) my now ex-husband. I would have never gotten into the mess I got myself into if my parents would have talked with me and compromised so I didn't fell like I had to run away from home in May of '00. The stupid WatchTower ruined my life in more ways than one. Thankfully, 5 years later I got away from them.

I cant continue to live like this i really need help

ok im trying desperatley just to be done with everything.

i'm so depressed because it feels as though i'm living my life wrong.

why cant i get from under the dark cloud, that keeps me down.

I also suggest counseling. If you get back to school, the school will usually offer it for free. Also, a lot of churches offer it for free or low cost. I know a local place that is income based and when I was first starting counseling, it cost me 5 bucks a visit.

You would be amazed at how much of a positive effect the counseling can give you. They can help you in so many ways to get a handle on things .

The best advice I can think to give you is to take just one day at a time. For now, don't worry about your future. Just worry about what will make you be proud of yourself for today. Definately try to get back into school though.
