I think even more often than viviane is right, its most funny just to watch people have too much ego, or whatever you want to call it to just keep going and going and going, then they get frustrated, then it just gets silly. People get on the internet and they lose the ability to say "you know you are right, I never thought of it that way" lol

cofty doesn't strike me as a pumpkin, although definitely a part of the rational-legion. @djs

From I believe some of the building in bk have been sold technically for a whole but the actual handover takes a lot of time. Like every thing tied up in escrow for a few years. They may have been forced to hurry up Warwick because that time is coming up fast and they need to be out of bk

I gotta hand it to them, whether or not this is true, they have done a pretty good job of migrating cult members into a different religion. Couldn't this be one of the strongest cases for those choosing to stay in as brainwashed?

The religion has changed so much right under the R&F nose so far, why not?

The witnesses are being lulled into another cult day by day to the point they wont even remember the one they used to be in .

Double Standards in the JW world

no other organization has so many written and unwritten rules like the jws.

so it comes to no suprise that there are a lot of double standards.. even though the end is "near", wt is building new and bigger offices.

while the small jw should live in a closet and should make plans to have a bigger house in the new world.

Protect pedophiles "we don't protect pedophiles"

Believes the rapture now "we don't call it the rapture"

Begs for money "we never ask for money"

We don't pass the plate "contribution boxes at every row of assembly"

Is wrong and lies "light get brighter"

they have resources to help you, especially if you have proof.

i always had a problem with the belief that god is allowing all the suffering in this world to go on just to vindicate his name and prove the devil wrong.

i watched this movie on netflix and i can really see why the atheist movement is growing.

it really does a good job of portraying the suffering in some parts of the world.

So how can you better explain what you are holding onto, you said God or Creator. What about creators? How would you describe this person, is it a person or a thing? What did it actually do? Where does the creation part begin and end? What are you holding onto exactly?

I saw that on Netflix. I will check it out now, you made it sound interesting.

I would suggest a couple things based on things you said.

Take a closer look at evolution. Not as the source of everything but as the progress of it.
Then explore the real reasons you feel the source had to be a creator of any kind. What do you solidly found that on. If our explanation for needing a creator is the complexity, beauty etc then by that very thought a creator would also need a creator endlessly...
