I did the same thing. I lost my cool. When I had a bunch of half wits corner me and question me and call me names and accuse me of apostasy and talk about how ignorant I am I came unglued. The after affect from the hypocrites..."how dare you insult us" the sad thing is before I would have never called my family half wits. But their inability to differentiate truth from cult has left me baffled. Not even that they want to believe the org but that their answer is to act childish and go BEYOND the org in the super self righteous judgement. -

LOL Deut 13:1-5
by Jonathan Drake inomg i've never read this before or if i did i never caught it... .
13 [a]if a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,2 and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying, let us go after other gods (whom you have not known) and let us serve them, 3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams; for the lord your god is testing you to find out if you love the lord your god with all your heart and with all your soul.
4 you shall follow the lordyour god and fear him; and you shall keep his commandments, listen to his voice, serve him, and cling to him.

Witnesses asume in genesis when god is speaking and says "us" he is talking to his angelic children, or Jesus. But there is really no proof of that to my knowledge. Who is "us". I think there were slip ups. and the monotheism was written in later on when it was all Rewritten or made up way later on. -

Worst Memorial Talk Ever!
by The Searcher ini honestly have never heard such claptrap being delivered in a memorial talk.. the speaker repeatedly put down the way other religions administered the bread & wine, and claimed that witnesses do it exactly as the bible describes.
oh yeah????.
he forgot to mention - when reading aloud 1 corinthians 11:25 - that after passing the bread, a full meal was to be shared, before the wine was passed around!

There was a lot of don't partake propaganda (I think its embarrassing to them the number increases, now they just threaten).
Also in my extra faded state and a new hall I would say at least half the audience were us, faders, slackers and exjw's. wild to think that many in this hall don't attend any meetings, the org might be in worse shape than I imagined.

Memorial talk wt escape clause
by prologos in" --only those in the kingdom covenant were served the bread & wine by jesus--" ---false!
this phrase switches from the forgiveness of sin part to the exclusive anointed club section of the memorial talk, and it is false because: the kingdom covenant was done after the passover was done.
and the promise of thrones and judging israel in math 19:28 was not a covenant but an assurance.

I noticed in the talk and in one sister comments referring back to the annual meeting, there us great concern the number of partakers is increasing. Concerned they are going to look like fools I think. -

lol sorry Morpheus, I give you permission to shun me for all eternity for disrespecting the one true god Thor.
But seriously I was reading some satanic luciferian propaganda about the Aten's somewhere I had also heard YHWH may have been their storm god...
In any event I have insulted Thor and now am an Apostate in his site, Thor forgive me!

The Bible Gods Word or Mans
by azor ini remember studying this book years ago and how it impacted my belief system.
i no longer believe the bible is god's word.
however i do have a couple of lingering questions on this subject.

Consider that it also mentioned the earth as being stationary, having corners (four corners of the earth was not an established term like today, the meaning may have well been more literal). It speaks of the sun moving (granted at times this may have been poetic). The earth is described as having "pillars". And a circle is also not a sphere.
Also in my personal opinion (warning opinion imminent) ancient people such as the Egyptians and Mayans had profound understand of the cosmos and astronomy. Sometimes i think we get hung up on the dark ages version of religion and it's utter stupidity to say that people before that were less or just as knowledgeable. We still don't understand how some ancient cultures knew things we didn't know again until only the last 100-200 years.
Any accuracy in the texts of the bible, could have come like much of the wiser parts of the bible, from Egypt. The ten commandants came from the Book of the Dead. Some proverbs came from Egypt texts.
Proverbs 22:17-18: “Incline thy ear, and hear the words of the wise: and apply thy heart to my doctrine. Which shall be beautiful for thee, if thou keep it in thy bowels, and it shall flow in thy lips.”
Amenemope ch1: “Give thine ear, and hear what I say, And apply thine heart to apprehend; It is good for thee to place them in thine heart, let them rest in the casket of thy belly; That they may act as a peg upon thy tongue.”
Proverbs 22:22: “Do no violence to the poor, because he is poor: and do not oppress the needy in the gate.”
Amenemope ch1: “Beware of robbing the poor, and oppressing the afflicted.”
Proverbs 23:1: “When thou shalt sit to eat with a prince, consider diligently what is set before thy face.”
Amenemope ch23: “Eat not bread in the presence of a ruler, And lunge not forward with thy mouth before a governor. When thou art replenished with that to which thou has no right, It is only a delight to thy spittle. Look upon the dish that is before thee, And let that (alone) supply thy need.”
Anything deemed even semi accurate I would write off to not coming from goat herding tribes. But taken from more advanced civilizations they were copying to to write their own foundation myth. Even better case-in-point
There are countless examples of influences from Zoroastrianism
Yasna 44.3 :4-5: “who made the routes of the sun and stars? By whom the moon waxes and wanes?”
Isaiah 40:26: “Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created these things: who bringeth out their host by number, and calleth them all by their names: by the greatness of his might, and strength, and power, not one of them was missing.”
Yasna 44.4:1-3: “who fixed the earth below and kept the sky above from falling?”
Isaiah 40:12: “Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and weighed the heavens with his palm? Who hath poised with three fingers the bulk of the earth, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?”

I liked it before the Jehovah's Witnesses became jw.org and they were told social media was the devil! Then you didn't have to deal with these @$$holes talking like this.
I remember I have always had myspace, then facebook, then instagram... some of my family criticized me and other family to no end for having such things when they denounced them at the district convention.
Now they all have them even their little kids exploiting them to no end. wish we could go back lol.
