  U.N. Scandal Clarfications Please.

  since i joined the forum a short while ago i was confronted by the above scandal, hadn't known about it , haven't been in touch with anything to do with the org for a while.

  so i've read all the posts and questions and i think iget the drift, but what i want to kno now is why did they do it?

  i hear their excuse of the library card, but that's obviously a load of tosh.

  --------------------------------- How did i get that up? Go to the UN site (google it to be sure its the proper site) and then after choosing the word welcome in your language, move your cursor up the screen to the top right and click search. In search type the following: Watchtower bible and tract Then choose the first PDF document you see.

  ---------------------------- The WBT society say the cut ties with the UN because the criteria changed. The Criteria of NGO (None Govermental Organizations) has never changed since they originally joined. I hope this helps - EDIT: The criteria had changed sorry but not the reasons they give

  As Ex JWs are we "All or Nothing"?

  as ex jehovahs witnesses, do you think we apply the "all or nothing" rule to non-jw things?

  do you remember the scriptures cited in revelation regarding being "luke-warm" and being "spewed out of"..jehovahs mouth?

  i realised recently that i do actually view things as "all or nothing".

  Well if i was God (and i'm not, can i just clarify that along with the Eclipse revelation from the WBT) the thing that would make me sick the most is the WBT. They just twist everything in the book and add lies.

  there have been a couple of threads started lately (and i'm sure many in the past as well) of dubs ask us apostates what they have since leaving the borg.

  most people have responded that they enjoy their freedom, the ability to think independently.

  but freedom and independent thinking are shunned by the dubs.. so i ask the question, .

  3 quarters of their brain belong to the WBT. The rest cant function them 3 quarters. The fear of fixing that is great because you dont know what to expect.

  Great Tribulation-Armaggedon- When?

  i was adopted into a jw family in southern california.

  my birth mother gave me up after 6 months (the terms mom & dad refer to my adoptive/real parents).

  she gave me up due to the fact that she already had a three year old boy, and back in the late sixties it was not as socially acceptable to be a single mother.
