  Interesting how things seem to happen sometimes......

  ever since i have begun this jw fade i have this strong desire to reconnect with those i have shunned in my past.

  thankfully my own brother and wife have accepted my heartfelt apologizes and are now a part of my life again.

  on my husband 's side of the family he has a brother he has not seen in about 12 years.

  Will the Watchtower ever tell it's members to stock up on essentials?

  i wonder if one day, the watchtower will tell each congregation to stock up on food and medicine and water, because armageddon is imminent in the very near future?.

  probably noah have to put lots of food and drinking water in his boat, to last 40 days...

  i don't think that god will deliver pizza

  i have found that postafarians around the world are without a means to purchase a likeness of the flying spaghetti monster.. as luck would have it, i stumbled upon a possible solution!

  Do you still refer to God as Jehovah?

  i am curious if anyone still calls their god jehovah.

  when i think of jehovah all i can think of is what they taught me.

  it was true at first i felt a much more personal and stronger relationship with god when giving him a name, however certain things they taught forced me to see him as a cold and unloving god.

  i remember when mum first started going (for the second time).

  she was disfellowshipped, thus no one would talk to her or me if i was with her.

  i kinda felt cut off too.

  i remember very few of the details, of when, where and exactly what took place, however a few years ago i was told the story about three elders that were walking together and the middle.

  elder was struck and killed by lightning.

  the other two elders went to his house to help out his wife and discovered 'apostate' material in their home.

  mum always told me of this woman who was a missionary. anyway she kept preaching and the village 'witch doctor' cast a spell on her. the next day she wasn't dead. people became jw's cos of this. EVEN if this is partly true, you got to these places and they'll believe anything.

  i was on the phone speaking with verne thoren, presiding overseer of the willow springs, nc congregation of jehovah's witnesses.

  he tells me he knows of my possesssion of the flock book.

  he knows of my involvement on this site.

  if witnesses really think their version of a funeral talk is a good way to give a witness ...think again.

  ...oh yea i also was really pissed how your funeral turned out...while i was sitting there ...kept sayin to each other how much we hated it and how pissed we were that he was sayin all that shit.. .

  i dunno how a brother could give the funeral talk knowing it was more about the WBT Society than the person. damn when i die i just wanna be remembered. JW's who die are just used as a way to advertise the org.

  i remember going to a JW funeral and basically the person was an 'after thought'. the speaker was a local elder and he just went on about the resurrection hope e.t.c but there were people there who weren't JW's and just wanted to pay their respects and remember the person in their way.

  also, i've been working away occasionally.
