  Mormons and JW's preaching on my street....lol

  friday afternoon, i was in front of my apartment building, walking my cat .

  then yesterday, it was the jw's to be on my street.

  what's funny is that i don't see mormons more than once per 3 years and the witnesses not more than once a year on this street.

  so, if i'm not much mistaken jwd was just down for over 24 hours - the longest time i can remember in over four years of posting here.

  these things happen - c'est la vie.. so what did you do during this time?

  Official Secret Policy on Anointing

  i suggest the policy is secret because it is not openly discussed anymore, but it still in force.

  or better stated, has never been updated by so-called "new light.

  " current jws who coem to believe that they are anointed sometimes find this article, and it makes them feel free to partake at the memorial.. it is the most compassionate, kind, and detailed article i ever found on the topic of how jws know they are anointed.

  i have noticed that a lot (not all) of us post and participate in topics that are nothing but arguements and debates over what should be believed.

  i have also been guilty of this, but just began to wonder, are we really free?.

  I dont love debate but i know what you mean. Your usually a lot clearer near the end about what you think. You see holes in your ideas or lack of holes in your ideas. Then you start again or make some changes. You must be able to LEARN and admit your wrong sometimes too. (i find that hard though lol)

  Satan Helps Dubs Look Bad

  we've recently started to get visits from varying pairs of dubs.

  i've been pretty harsh with some in the past and told them to mark me down at the hall as a "do not return", but this has not worked.

  a couple of new sisters called on me yesterday morning, so i carefully steered them towards the blood issue.

  imagine i wanted to sell you a painting.

  i gave you a lot of documents and proof that infact it was a valuable constable painting.

  the price was high but for what you appeared to be getting, the sacrifice in money is worth it.. what if, for example.

  Yeh, i shut down my art gallery too! Lets hope more shut shop.

  I hope they see it for the fake it is one day, as I have.

  i know how that feels but a lot of the folks here told me that, you can't blame yourself just as you took it they did too!

  Imagine you were in a really awful situation. You saw people injured, blood, fire and total chaos.
  Would you forget that?

  It's the same with the society. We've been in our awful situation and we've been hurt in a way that we'll not forget. No one can see our scars and cuts. The thing is, we can all understand the situation. Its unique and a HUGE learning curve. You'll not do that again in a hurry eh?
  
  The arguing here is easily out weighed with the nice comments. I've yet to meet someone here i don't like or that i couldn't chat to. Anyway its just a forum. Over a beer or something the situation would be different i bet you!
  
  This is part of my healing process, the arguements can get out of hand but its not like were discussing a Christmas party that went wrong. This was our life. I'm not sweeping anything under my rug. I wanna get it all out and dealt with.
  If a thread goes out of hand, fine. We shout a bit, say things we don't mean or even that we do mean then we go to bed. Wake up tomorrow no harm done.

  Would you like to send your love back to the xxxxx congregation?

  almost every time we have a visiting speaker the chairman will ask us afterwards if we would like to send our "love" back to the speaker's congregation.

  everyone claps loudly.. has anyone ever heard of that "love" being delivered to the congregation?
