We all agree Saddam needed to be ousted, but the means by which it happened was incorrect.
And, just how would you have proposed he be ousted?
why would the pentagon suddenly stop all the media coverage of our dead troops coming home?
a little too close to election time maybe?
i hope this comes back to haunt bush and all of his war cronies and i hope they can live with all the dead that keep piling up every day.

ok, i'm sure this topic has been covered before, but i'm new here, so indulge me.
what do everyone's screen names mean?
some are pretty self-explanatory, but a few have me intrigued.
DakotaRed may sound like more than it is, but truthfully, I own and drive a Red Dodge Dakota. Didn't think RedDakota would sound very cool.
well, after two weeks of every major grocery store here being on strike and the smaller markets are having trouble keeping up with the demand, now the sky is gray-orange and ash is everywhere!
i know, i know, i shouldn't complain because of all the poor folks being evacuated and some even losing their homes.
i'm not really complaining though.
At least up here in Washington, it only rains and the fires have always been to the east
Let's hope no earthquakes to top it all off. California has enough trouble.

do you believe that if the table were turned it would be done any differently
the democrats in power instead of the rep
Hard to say. The media seems to have their own agenda. During Vietnam, they reported news much the same way, whether Johnson or Nixon was in office.
1. add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet.
water, and put both lids up.. .
2. pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him.
I was going to try it with one of my cats tonight, but both gave me that, "don't even think about it" stare.

How To Thoroughly Clean The Toilet
1. Add the required amount of shampoo to the toilet
water, and put both lids up.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him
towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet
and close both lids.
You may need to stand on the lid. The cat will self
agitate and make ample suds. (Never mind the noises
that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.)
4. Flush the toilet three or four times. (This
provides a "power-wash " and "rinse".)
5. Have someone open the door to the outside (Be sure
that there are no people between the toilet and the
outside door.)
6. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and
quickly lift both lids.
7. The now clean cat will rocket out of the toilet,
and run outside where he will dry himself off. The
toilet will be sparkling clean!
Sincerely, The Dog
i really hope to get a ton of responses for this topic, so even if you're just browsing through postings and topics, please add your two cents...however brief.
i am really curious to know who our "heroes" are, those people we admire, identify with, emulate and recieve inspiration from.
feel free to even list former heroes and perhaps why you were taken with admiration for them at that point in your life and maybe why you don't feel that way any longer.
I have over 58,000 heroes whose names are etched on a black wall in Washington D.C.

Instead of demanding focus on the dead in Iraq, why not start focusing on the murders from Los Angelos, Chicago, New York, Detroit, Houston and every other major city each day? Wonder whch will have coffins piled higher?
Ask yourself why the media only wishes to cover deaths and not also include what good our people have and are accomplishing there? A recent bi-partisan delegation visited Iraq and even the Democrats stated the media was only focusing on what they could to paint a dismal picture of it all. Yesterdays local news here opened with the words, "It was a particuarly bloody day in Iraq. 3 soldiers were killed!" I wonder what the body count just from Los Angelos was?
It's sad enough that families have lost loved ones, but to have it plastered all over the news before they even receive the bodies makes it all that much worse. Did it ever occur to any that maybe families don't want their loved ones used in such a manner, possibly against their values and what their deceased loved one stood for?
here it is 11 pm and i just returned from safeway where i went for a few quick items at 10. safeway is only a few blocks from my house.
as i was looking at the meat counter for some good bargains, being the cheap dude i am, as well as broke, a not unattractive blonde lady walks up to me and starts in complaining about the cost of granola, saying there is no way in hell she will pay $3 for a granola bar.
now, i have heard of women who go to stores late at night to get picked up by guys and quite honestly, always thought it was bs.
LOL, Stacy. You also failed to convince me you were a drunken super Liberal
Zoe, she ended up buying something, but I didn't hang around long enough to see what it was. But, this did show me that I need to avoid granola.

LOL, Perry. Your analysis was even funnier than the run in
