this is the wtbts outline for the circuit assembly symposium "do not be contaminated by...".

i'll be posting the 2nd & 3rd parts shortly.

i would post this as a download but i have seen the problems yknot has had with the wtbts very quickly getting the host to remove the file.. from my experience having given talks at assemblies for 30 years - the wtbts used to provide outlines but nowadays the outline is virtually a manuscript , with even the illustration given word for word.

how do posters feel about the physicians , doctors , surgeons and others giving their experiences and views in the societies videos and dvds?.

is the prevailing view that these are amateurs and/or stooges who do not represent mainstream medical opinion?

or do some posters feel that these clinicians maybe have some justification for their views?.

as a bit of a newbie , i'm interested as to the overall viewpoint of site users and spectrum of views.. using a crude gauge , where 1 = completely convinced "stepford"jw ("jhs organisation is wonderful etc") and 10 is a completely rabid "tear down the tower" apostate/ex-witness pathalogically hating the whole jw structure , where do you fit in?

(apolgies to both groups - no offense intended).. i'm about 2.5 - somewhat disillusioned , keen for reforms in certain areas but broadly accepts the teachings and loves the lifestyle.

i'm a bit out of the loop - what is the latest take on this?

i know that some fervent jws have in the past decided not to have children (which i always thought was a bit dumb) on the basis that they could have perfect ones in the new system but from my perspective , jws (strong & weak) are breeding like rabbits , without any censure or disapproval.. is it still a mark of spirituality not to have kids & is it still encouraged?

and excuse my ignorance (**blushes**)- how do you guarantee not to have children (eg for married bethelites)?

was there ever an issue as to whether you were / weren't allowed to wear shoes at a group book study in someones house , so everyone had to dump their shoes at the door?.
