  not surprising considering how they treated me all my life.

  i had conseling for it ( wordly counselor) but between us neither one could work out where this issue came from.

  This will be a great way to put in FS time. Sit in front of you PC and give this month's Watchtower presentation ad nauseum. Never have to leave the house. Oh I forgot, witnesses can't be on the internet. Nevermind.

  "Reelin' In The Years" Steely Dan -- guitar by Elliot Randall. He was a hired-gun session guitarist, so there is probably no clip available.

  This solo is sometimes mistakenly attributed to Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, who was a member of SD at the time.

  Hotel California and Jehovahs Witnesses????

  it occured to me the song hotel california describes the life of a jw....this songs lyrics describes a luxury resort where "you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

  " i have listen to this song many times but the other day when it came the radio it hit me!!!

  Can't agree more with Hotel California (and what a guitar solo!).

  Also, I realized a few years ago that Takin' It To The Streets (by the Doobie Brothers, written by Mike McDonald) could be interpreted as a great "leaving the Witnesses" song.

  That's really what makes music so meaningful -- the personal interpretations we attach to it.

  "Brother Franz, please, tell us, If God Truly Cared About People Wouldn't He DO SOMETHING by Now?"
