Why I'm mad at god.

the past couple of days, i've been posting a lot about how disappointed and even disgusted i am with god and how he runs his universe.

i guess that probably offends some people.

i don't intend to make people feel bad, but here's what's been going on in my life lately:.

I know how you feel...sometimes I will write things and never get a comment..I wonder for a bit if there are even cliques here in the forum...I just ran from cliques in the Kingdom Hall...it can be discouraging...but I am not going to stand on a hill and scream.."hey, look at me"...If people want to respond..then respond..if not..oh well...I am not into cliques and have never fit in to a certain mold...That is okay! As for you being angry at God....I can understand..I was mad at him in the KH, There were times our whole family was treated so poorly and of no importance....that I felt like..."what the hell did our family do to be treated like Job?"....I have even begun to feel that the bible is just a book...nothing more...I still believe in something....just don't know if it is the bible and the god it describes in it any longer...and before anyone gets upset at my statement..sorry if it offends you..but I feel for the first time in many years I am able to have an opinion without someone telling me it is wrong to have one..:)..Hope your Christmas is a good one....Ursula

i was going through my pictures and i came across a few..... so, i will start a fluff thread and hopefully, we will get to see some of our favorite stars with a legendary poster!!!!.

I went to a Steve Perry concert about 12 or 13 years ago in Utah...I have always loved Journey and had seen them in concert a few times in my early teens. Well, my husband works for the airlines and we had a long lay over in the Salt Lake City airport the day we were trying to make it back home, (13 hours), and my husband got up to use the bathroom, and as he was walking back, he was conversing with someone...I thought it was maybe another employee he worked with who was also traveling....and as I looked a little closer it was Steve Perry...My husband had told him that we were at his concert the night before. He went back to his waiting area, and me and another gal walked up to him and visited with him for 15 minutes or so....Got him to sign a picture of his for me...and the rest is history! Nice Guy!

just curious if i know anyone on here...i attended congregations in northern california, (pleasant hill, martinez), and in southern california, (hemet), also a couple of congregations in colorado, (colorado springs)...just curious if anyone out there attended in any of those areas?

Suicide is a VERY bad thing.....

that is the conclusion i've come to.

up until then, and because of my own depressed feelings, i have felt differently.

this changed for me last night, though.

Suicide indeed is a horrible thing....My brother-in-law commited suicide 20 years ago, and when I think back to that day, it is as if it happened yesterday...there is a hole in everyone in the family's heart who lost him that day....I only suggest that if you are feeling sad, and depressed to reach out to someone....anyone, to help you get through the sadness you are feeling!

Anybody ever caught you here?

has anyone here ever had a wife or family member find this site bookmarked, in their history, or on the screen of their pc?

I truly do not know the exact phrase...when I writing, it all just came out that way...at least you got the meaning I was trying to convey...lol! I have nothing to lose....a few friends who turned their backs on me immediately when I told them I was no longer going back, (with no help, or encouragement given). My husband, and kids were the only ones in the KH, and they all left at the same time! Thankfully!! Our extended family members, (the worldly ones..lol), couldn't be happier, and have even said they have seen a remarkable change in each and every one of us since leaving. They say we seem much happier! I must agree with them....It feels as if a large weight has been lifted, and if it means I serve Satan now, (lol, yeah right!)...then so be it!

Sensational news in my Cong!

i've just found out something that's going to be a massive thing in my congregation when it gets out.

it all starts with a former jw, who faded away probably about a decade ago, and then moved away, came out as a homosexual a few years ago.

he was never baptised, and he left so long ago, he never got chased up or disfellowshipped.

Nothing in that religion surprises me anymore! We had a friend that we would drink with occasionally in the KH, he was a full blown alcoholic-drunkard! Most people who knew him, knew this about him! He was appointed to be an elder...lol!! We "gathered" with him and his wife and friends and family after he was appointed to be an elder...and he drank everyone in the room under the table, back up again, and back under! I think that was also, (along with a long list of other things), that made me realize what a lying, deceitful orgainization it was, (Elders appointed by holy spirit, sha, right!)....blah blah blah!!
