I'm not sure if I would ask. I would rather have them get tested for other things since I learned the statistics of people carrying STD's in the United States, so I think I would rather be more safe than sorry.

I mostly agree with you. I am a little pissed off because of what it is doing to my family right now and how its tearing us apart, but I can speak in front of people better than most students in college that are around my age, I'm not as afraid. And I have learned how not to treat people too.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I have ever had a heartfelt prayer that I actually wanted answer. Although I'm not sure if it would even be answered, and right now, I'm not even sure if I believe in god...hmm...oh well.

I got off easy because my father is an Elder
by Pwned ini was reading the story of james caputo on his site disfellowshipped.org when i came to the realization that i received favorable treatment because of who my father is.
i was 17 when i told my father that i didnt want to be a jw anymore because i just didnt really believe in it, i think i said something along the lines of i just don't "feel it" anyways he told me that since i was a minor i would have to keep going to the meetings and that i would have to tell the elders how i felt.
so a few days later 2 elders who had known me since i was 6 years old came over and talked to me, although they made it clear from the outset that it wasn't a jc.

Fighting boredom

are you more successful now in this endevour compared to the past, did you develop efficient anti boredom tactics?
i never had a boredom problem for a long time, i socialise a lot and there is of course also the internet.

Hmm, with being in school I don't have much time to be bored, but I find myself trying something new. If I were to maybe add something in my life that could keep me preoccupied a couple of hours a day or something like that.
