  ah,they are STILL saying it..my parents are saying that going to school now,as an adult is a waste of time,cause armageddon is just around the corner..i went to a few meetings last summer{long story} and they were seriously diss'ing higher education,making such foolish statements like"people who has higher education are unhappy,etc"..and you wouldnt believe all of the nodding fools that were agreeing!!!! i do think that a class action suit might be in the future.. those bas++rds....

  i like the cape coral/sanibel island area for a vaction.its a nice break from the glacial winters here..actualy am looking for a rental for the first week of march right now..need a pool and hot tub..anyone know any???..the traffic IS amazing,but the weather is great and the beaches are excellent if you take the extra time to find a less crowded one.i lived in the panhandle for a winter..loved it but had some trouble w.spiders and snakes..and crazy rednecks following my car..{out of state plates}?id never spend the summer anywhere but where i live now.cant imagine subjecting myself to a florida summer..gahhhhh...

  some from walmart some from bass pro shops and some other stores.

  i sell stuff on ebay too..i think that some folks just get caught up in the bidding..oh well,just enjoy..i hear that there are even some people who give money to the dubs when they die..theres one born every minute...

  Finally got asked "THE Question"

  i don't post too often here but have been coming here for a few years now.

  i have been successfully fading for the past 10 years (so i thought) but went to visit jw family members last week and the matriarch of the family asked us if we still believed it was jehovah's organization.

  after avoiding a direct answer and trying to skirt the issue for a while, finally the hubby said, "no, we don't believe it's jehovah's organization".

  sorry,i know its hard...but itll be better everyday,really!..that partialy living a lie thing sucks,i did it for years..someone asked me that question recently and i sorta raised one eyebrow and looked at them and said"are you serious"?it felt like someone asking me if i believed in santa...keep on checking in here.this forum has been a cool place to get strength and a few laughs for me..its "a godsend"..hahhhahhah

  told her i would not be coming back into "the truth" .

  she was rocked and asked why.

  FF,i cannot imagine how difficult it must be to have a jw partner.it must be very very hard..she sorta has to has split loyalties,cause the dubs want jah first.that would never work w/me..I need to be first.not some amorphous entity..i wish you much luck,but it seems like you have already taken the first step to clearing out the cobwebs...thats great!..you know,sometimes marriages end.and it turns out to be the best thing for everyone...but sometimes you can work it out..i hope you can work yours out,but jah is a powerful suitor...
