As a Scot I love new year(s) but not xmas. Just a personal preferance. Though, I used to love the idea of all the xmas set up and songs, trees etc. After not doing it for a long time, I just keep it that way. Love the days off though.

Having to butt suck to a load of ball bags. I mean by that, having to tolerate their constant put down mentality. Some of these strokers were at the time flirting with JWs who were single. Obviously frustrated with their marriage mates who had extreemly small boabies. I got the impression that most JW wives tolerated the whole 'bring back a bottle of wine on a Saturday and have missionary position sex later on' mentality. Sad.

District Convention talk on Education

i would like to hear it, can anyone tell me which day and time it was given?

the convention is in town this weekend (as well as last weekend and next weekend) and i need information on the talk.. i am going to visit my family next week and i want to try to talk to my niece about college.

if a jw is an ardent believer, and faithfully practices his or her religion, are they, in your mind, "bad" or "evil", in reality?

If they seriously go ahead and shun their offspring for the sake of some minor 'sin of the flesh' - YES. If they go ahead and murder their child because of the blood policy - YES. If they REALLY believe that 6 billion people deaerve to die - YES. If they are willfully concealing information about a sick paedo bastard because of the reputation of the society/cong - YES.

last night my husband and i went to the local hole in the wall bar for supper .

real small local bar .

we sit at a table and my husband notices this guy behind me at the bar is a witness he knows from another town a few hours away from us .

I remember when I used to be paranoid about bumping into witnesses when i was grocery shopping, just in case they saw my beer and spirits. Then, eventually, I thought 'fack them'!
