  I want to say that they were AHoles, but they were really kind poeple. It was a couple in there mid 40's with a Hot daughter my age and a son a few years older. I am sure they are thumpin away with their lives as dubs. I blame drugs. ;) and myself

  my teenage daughter is out with her friends so i'm alone here tonight, but not lonely.

  I changed schools 14 times by the 8th grade, all in an area of rural rednecks and being half-mexican lets just say it was hard on a kid. Always being the new breed in school. I didn't have many friends and actually if you didn't count my 2 younger brothers i would have none though out my years at school.

  the friends i did have were usually the troubled kids with simalar family backgrounds. The mexicans in school gave me shit for not being able to speak spanish, and the other kids didn't like another mexican in their school.

  I guess the point is that i was never used to true friendship until i was 20 and meet the best friend a person could ever ask for. The friendship i have with him is the best and only true friendship i have and is very important to me because i have had those friendships that are superficial and the "friend" is only in it for what they can get out of you. but this guy is a true friend. he is ther for me and i for him.

  I was born with 2 brothers and now i have had 3 for the last 8 years. I cherish all three brothers because of their loyalty, brutal honesty and the fact that anyone of us would do ANYTING to help the others out, and that has been proven.

  About Tattoos...

  somebody was asking me about tattoos and what the biblical rules about them are.

  i also remember that a magazine (an awake!?

  ) mentioned that getting a tattoo is a matter of conscience.

  Can a Sexual Predator Be Cured?

  the state of california is conducting an experiment by releasing some sexual predators, who have undergone treatment at a state hospital into some communities.

  one such example is cary verse, who is now in bay point.

  convicted of sexual assault of three boys and a man and treated in atascadero state hospital, he left treatment in feb. 2004 and is now on conditional release.

  losing jehovah was like losing a girlfriend that you loved.

  you barely had time to flinch when you found out that she had been sleeping with all your friends and stealing your records to pawn off.

  that you had just been another sucker on the vine.. when jehovah dumps you, you start looking at yourself longer and harder, and wondering what it was about him that you found in yourself, until all you see there in the reflection is just yourself, dancing with an imaginary hand and waistline.. when jehovah was gone, and the war was over, i realized that all the things that had made me "good", and "moral", and "hate what was bad", didn't mean anything to me anymore.

  WOW, that was a great peice of writing. I was pointed to this thread by Freedomlover and thank you for doing so FL. Your writing struck home big time TS. I wrote this in my "introducing myself" thread http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/107421/1.ashx I am nowwhere near the calibur of writer you are, i just love the similar metaphors. Yours is much more elequently written. Nice work. when i was first around those lying bastards my mother was the one who accepted the bible study, and coming out of a horriblely abusive relationship with my father bought into them hook,line and sinker. when i was in jr high i really loved the arts. I spent almost a year on 2 oil paintings and was very proud of them. Everyone in class loved them and our art teacher was impressed. after bringing them home (when i got them back from the display case :)) our bible study jws (one who happened to be an elder) told my mother they were evil since one was a dipiction of a rock singer and the other was an abstract of a budwieser label. they were immediatley burned by my mother. I was crushed, I had so much positive feedback and confidence building over those 2 paintings that seeing them burned by my mother because of what those 2 bastards said actually killed something in me. I didn't attempt anything artistcally creative until 13 years later when i designed my tattoo. sorry for going off. your writting stired a few of my old memorys. hats off too you man. thanks

  A letter to the Parents

  a friend gave me permission to post this.

  i think it's a good letter, it might help others formulate their thoughts; she understands it may not be read or considered deeply, but things can't get much worse with her family at this point anyway.

  no contact is not that much different than contact once per year or less, and sometimes it's just really important to have the people who should know you, at least know you a little.
