this is just an obsevation from me...ok i dont mean to annoy anyone but is it true or just me?.

i feel that ones raised in the truth are so much better of than us who came in from the world.

i say that because they have family who are witnesses too.

angel eyes, you are confused. Try to explain your reasoning to someone who has never been a JW and see if they think it's logical.

was i in rehab for alcohol addiction or jwd addiction!?!?

!......no computers or cellphones allowed so i have been awol awhile..... ya, i finally made my self sick enough on booze to realize i was really sick and tired of being sick and tired....so checked myself into rehab without any planning at all and while wife was out of town on a family retreat...it was a a very desperate moment in my life, and i was extremely physically and emotionally sick....i was so desperate i took zero time to reseach where to go, but called an old school friend who said rehab had saved his life and he made the calls and actually took me and helped me check in to the place he went to 5 years ago.

How many XJWs went onto another faith....?

i'm just curious here.. as i am exiting currently and trying to find my new place (and belief system) in this world, i am wondering what the experience was like for other xjws.

I don't believe in "god" now and I am quite happy not to have a religious belief.

in the last year i actually moved to the camp grounds and spent 10 months living right there where i worked.

help friends urgently needed

ive had doubts for years had my mind opened and over the past year have decided enough is enough.

sick of the lies and double standards no longer believing in what ive been told cant even step into a kingdumb hall i just feel like screaming ive decided to d/a, best decision ive ever made a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders no more pretending to others finally free.

the announcement is being made this week.

this is hypothetical, but it must happen and i don't recall it being addressed before on jwn.

we are df'd about 2 years now.

our jw friends shunned us.. if one such friend now reaches out to contact us that would surely be a good thing, yes?

The good ones inside the WTS will be heartbroken and crying out to assist but are trapped in a prison of silence.

Starting to write here after reading for years

i decided to join the group though im reading this forum since years now.

i almost know you all....by nickname i mean..... my husband joined you a few years ago already.

but i do not feel so free of speech because english is not my mother tongue, but i read a lot english books, have some relations with english speaking people, have a nice friend who is active on this forum and very known (because of her discoveries), so i will try to do my best.

I went to my 1st JW 'gathering' in 3 years

the negative outlook of the jehovahs witnesses made me leave the religion.

i was a young man (you can read my previous experiences) who was consumed by negativity.

it made me want to kill myself at one point.. i went to a gathering with my wife recently & i have to say that they are just as negative as i was, but worse.. consumed with depressing tales of misery, depression & general pessimism.. in no way would i be attracted to those people.

I don't think there are many new ones coming in - except for kids of JWs.

A brief look at the "Keep Yourselves in God's Love" book should send out alarm bells to any half-thinking person.
