I find it amusing, guessing you are NOT from the US, the different terms used for the same thing in different parts of the world. I don't have a clue as to what a "skip bin" happens to be. If I assume a trash can/garbage can would I be correct?

The Point of this Site?
by Samael inforgive me if i sound rude or this question has been answered elsewhere, as i am a neophyte and discovered your site through google in my religious studies.
from reading the various posts it seems that this site serves nothing more than an iconoclastic purpose.
was your experience as jw's so traumatic that now you can but put forth such effort to daemonize the religion?

I really took offense to your post. I tried not to but I did. But you want everyone to think you are extremely intellegent by using such big words. Hey you may talk that way. But if you go around using words like Neophyte, petulant, and iconoclastic you better have an Intellegent question at the end of all that.
You took the exact words right out of my mouth. The Watchtower has done more to destroy the bonds of family relationships than any other single force in the world today all IN THE NAME OF GOD. It's a man lead organization. Petulant? PETULANT! You bet there are those who are petulant. Educate yourself. This site exists to expose the "truth" about the "truth bearer's" who are nothing more than wolves in sheep's clothing.
In a nut shell, this site exists to warn others with a simple message... DON'T DRINK THE KOOL-AID!

What kind of things did you do when going door to door to add time?
by whyizit ini was intrigued by an earlier post.
the point was made that the jws are going door-to-door to meet a quota and are not really concerned about the people they are witnessing to, but only in saving their own butts.
has anyone ever had a non-jw friend and asked them if they could talk about jehovah for a while to them, in order to fill the time they need?

I was within minutes of running out of gas as I piloted a single engine Cessna, at night, 2,500 feet above ground over the northwest side of Dallas/Fort Worth airport almost 25 years ago. I landed at an airport I spotted below me just in time. Fuel was basically NOT visible in either tank after landing. I AM NOW A GASOHOLIC... if there is such a thing. It was a lesson I learned and lived to tell about it. I believe it was by the Grace of God that I am still here today to recall the entire incident.

Your Advice Needed! What Appears Like My Only Way Out....

for about the past 2 years i've gone through all the formations and as many of you have known from reading my posts i've pretty much have moved way beyond the watchtower in my mind many months ago.
coming to this board has helped with the process much, as well as getting my hands on alot of good reading material.

One doesn't have to KILL someone to convince others it's not the right thing to do. Same thing applies to drugs, rape, robbery, arson, assault you name it. I don't like the idea for the simple reason what if, through your new found deceptive zeal, you actually encourage, lead, and or assist someone to follow the WTS. Is that a good thing? I think not.
Proverbs 3:5,6 says.... "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths."

There is NO missing money. Total transaction is $30. Shopkeeper returns 3 bucks. Cost to kids $27.
30 bucks in the till minus 3 = 27 in till. He kept 2 bucks out of the 5 in overcharge. 25+2=27.
There is no missing 1 dollar. 30-3=27...... you are attempting to factor in 2 bucks with the 27 figure to get the balance in the till. 27 is not the correct amount. It's 25+2=27...... Take 27 and add back the 3 he gave to the kids and you are back to 30.
