  Northern Texas weather is getting crazy!!

  i am near dallas, and we are having tornado warnings right now.

  it is dark and windy, and we are expecting a massive cold front with possibly 3 inches of snow.

  (i would be really shocked if that happens!

  Howdy MM stay warm. I know this is nuts violent thunderstorms due any moment and weatherman on channel 5 said temp will drop about 40 degrees in next few hours and this rain will freeze if too much Ice I won't open the shop. I take the high 5 to and from work. I will go the back way. I live in Turtle Creek and work in Garland I am not worried about snow but Ice now that is another story

  No school again today

  for the second day in a row, the schools are closed because of the snow.

  very strange for november.. it is collllddddd today and the roads are solid ice after the bit of a thaw yesterday.

  another big snowstorm hit last evening.

  Daystar I'm listening to the news now and the temp is supposed to drop by as much as 40 degrees in a couple hours some time Thursday afternoon and not get out of the 30's and then warmer by Saturday.

  You are right about the drivers. I take the high 5 from work to home but on icey days I go the back way and stay off any elevated structures just too dangerous. If it is iced up too much I don't even open the shop.

  What bothers you more, snakes or spiders

  it is pretty common among us humans to have an issue with one of the big two.

  we either have a discomfort with them, or just dislike them all together.

  personally, i am not real against being around either, but if i had to choose which one i see in a more negative way, it would be spiders.

  I don't mind spiders except for black widows and brown recluse.

  Now Snakes HELL NO I have a definite phobia about them.

  When I was a little kid living in Reno NV our neighbors took all my clothes off and held me down and put 3 little green water snakes from the Truckee river on me and let them crawl on me and I have had a phobia ever since. A couple incidents with diamond back rattlers in Reno but never bitten came close though.

  On a paradoxical note I am fascinated by them I have both Anaconda movies and also the movie Boa. I enjoy Steve Irwins specials on snakes. I guess I'm just nuts

  Apology to all

  this is an apology to all for my recent posts, i did'nt mean to upset anyone .

  just coping with leaving the org ,and the past ,and trying to support my wife who, as some know from my prevoius posts has tried to deal with her pedophile elder(past) father for many years now thru the org ,and then being badly treated by them and her large extended family (most are witnesses and are trying to silence her), made me hit rock bottom.

  we are now taking action via the police and court system and she is barely coping ,and me being bi-polar does'nt help matters much and i fell into to an unreal state for a while as we don't have much support of any kind.

  I am so sorry to learn of what happened with your wife. You certainly have support here. I hope you succeed with the authorities.

  my reason for this thread is to provide a bird food backup source growing up jw da birds were big.if i misbehaved as a small child my adult jw family members would 'put the fear of jehovah in me' by reminding me of jehovah & da birds.

  I remember that I also remember a CO giving a talk once that Buzzards were multiplying at a phenominal rate. As I teenager at the time and pre 1975 I swallowed it hook line and sinker. Also about the flesh being consumed off my body and my eyeballs blowing up. Talk about fear! I look back now and think this is the stuff end of the world movies are made of

  due to funkyderek i have come to the decision to leave this board.

  when i posted on the current gay thread in a way that i thought would stimulate thinking and lighten up the seriosness of the thread and have a laugh, he and others put me down publically labelling me.

  so i find it difficult now to continue posting knowing that someone has influenced others into thinking that i'm not worthy of being here because my phrasing and spelling is bad and that i'm apparently a "hyporite".

  Woz get over yourself! You are being a drama queen and learn to have an intelligent discussion I am not offended by you even though you were quite abrasive in your comments. I think you have a lot to add to discussions are you still here? SAY SOMETHING IF NOT I GUESS YOU HAVE LEFT If you are that sensitive too bad.   yesterday i received a call from state rep. leslie hodge.

  a while back i called her office and got an appointment.

  i asked her to introduce legislation that would require sellers of used cars (not private parties) to disclose the cars problems and let the buyer make an informed decision whether to buy it or not.
