  Watchtower logo on side of kingdom hall

  my old kingdom hall has the watchtower logo built into the brick work on the side that faces the road - to me for a hall that is supposed to be dedicated to god, its a bit wrong to have a corporation logo on the side of it.

  maybe its there to show they and not the congregation own it???

  Jourles I guess I didn't make my point clear enough. I was refering to a symbol an image get it? To me it is no different than wearing a lapel pin of the flag. Crosses are also symbols do you remember the ankh? That is all I am saying.

  In regerence to Q's comment. I would ask what is the difference in wearing a cross and wearing a lapel pin or tie tac with the watchtower logo? I would then ask about the commandment about graven images and not bowing down before them and according to wts folklore that would include reverence to objects. Then tell them to put that in their pipe and smoke it. LOL

  just how is it all going to happen?

  i mean, you dont have to be a friggin rocket scientist to work out the logistics of 6 billion+ corpses on the face of the earth!

  to be honest, i know its a lot of bullshit but it intrigues/angers me to think back to some of the ludicrous converstaions i overheard regarding the murder of 6 billion+ people in the 'near' future.

  Dubs are obsessed with annihilation. That was always the topic of almost all the meetings. Again the fear factor thing, very little about love for your fellow man and treating one another with genuine kindness.

  i had a doctor's appointment this morning so i was out and about early.

  i got home about 10:30am and who do i see walking around the neighborhood?

  Why don't you make a call to child protective services?

  This sounds like maybe some abuse might be involved as well. At least CPS can investigate and monitor the family and get that poor kid some help before it is too late.

  Kudos to you for helping out this young fellow.

  i am near dallas, and we are having tornado warnings right now.

  it is dark and windy, and we are expecting a massive cold front with possibly 3 inches of snow.
