Hi folks as I have posted before I started a new job for better money and it is doing great.
I am so busy now I can't think of the time and my old customers from my former location ( here ) it has been great. One of my senior ladies brought me so much in the way of goodies we both just had to laugh.
Jake is upset as I will bring him there later. I fired a couple of folks for doing illegal inspections ( state emissions and safety regulations ) and the one tech there is scared I will get rid of him to bring Jake there. I won't do that as he is ok but not as good as Jake. I convinced the owner to improve the place and add new lifts and an allignment machine which will cost over 40,000 dollars and HE AGREED!
So I am becoming more independent and doing ok .
I won't post as much but wanted to let all you wonderful folks know I am doing great and I will check in from time to time and give my opinion on topics posted.
Thanks and love to you all.

Tragic Bush Administration Failure
by DebSmithLopez inup here, in the northern plains, we just recovered from a historic event--- may i even say a "weather event" of "biblical proportions" with a historic blizzard of up to 44" inches of snow and winds to 90 mph that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed all roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10's of thousands.. .
fyi:.
george bush did not come.. .

I have had the opportunity to see both sides of the Katrina coin.
A lot of the customers I had were katrina refugees and some were lazy and expecting the government to pay for everything. Others here in the Dallas area got off their buts and found jobs.
Up north I am sure most owned their homes and were not living in a slum which was what most of the 9th ward was. La history has been racist and for the whites to stay in control they had to keep the blacks poor and ignorant and accomplished this by making welfare easy to get and hard to get off of.
Blacks outnumber whites in New Orleans and for the most part very poor.
How about where you are?
Sure the government owes no one anything but a government is judged by how they deal with those less fortunate. The folks in New Orleans had nothing and what they had was washed away.
Try not to be so synical.

Comment on "The View" today
by Mulan ini had the view on tv while i was cleaning this morning, and the women started talking about pat robertson's prediction for 2007. the guest co host, sherri shepherd, said "i used to be in the religion that rang your doorbells on the weekends and sold pamplets, but they predicted the world would end in 1995 (i'm sure she meant 1975) and that didn't happen either.
" .
for those not in the u.s., the view is a daily morning tv talk show for women..

Now wait a minute I like the view as well LOL
I heard that comment and Sherri Shephard is hilarious, missed Rosie today though.
Pat Robertson is certifiable in my opinion

Do you find the forum addictive?
by avidbiblereader inhow many find that they need or want to be on the forum at least once a day?
do you like keeping up with fellow posters and friends or do like being able to give your thoughts without the fear of being criticized?
i look at some of the amounts that some have posted wow and i am no better for only being here less than a month, it is a great place to talk and get loads of wisdom from others on a variety of subjects, thanks everyone for the thoughtful expressions and heartfelt posts.. abr.

hambeak
Yes it is addictive and I have told my heart out there to no one else on this planet.
I guess because it is anonymous and I get a lot of good advice
I have met some really wonderful people here and I am better and stronger for it

My suicide attempt yesterday...
by Gregor injust when you think life could not possibly kick you in the teeth any worse something like james browns passing blind sides you.
after listening to "i feel good" several times, including a half hearted attempt to dance to it, i swallowed an entire package of m&ms and drank a half pint of brandy.
fortunately my wife found me in time and forced me to drink a scotch and soda.

Knorr on 1914: "I don't know." - Mouthy Alert!
by compound complex indear mouthy and other denounced ones,.
you may find this double standard $%^@#@*&!
"in 1975, knorr made a remarkable and candid statement to the governing body, which confirmed his growing disillusionment until his death two years later: ["]'"there are some things i know --- i know that jehovah is god, that christ jesus is his son, that he gave his life as a ransom for us, that there is a resurrection.
