Wow, I love hearing the other experiances(sp). I will agree with a couple who said it should be seen once. Just to get it out of your system kinda like a bad cold.S.

Ok, Seriously people, Can anyone here say they honestly enjoy Las Vegas? What an utterly depressing place. My wife and I went there for a "wedding". I couldn't understand why anyone would want to vacation or live there. With the hype I hear from my friends that go often I was looking forward to it. I couldn't get home fast enough. I can see why their moto is "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". Who would want to talk about what happens there. And now that I look at the moto,it seems it could also apply to the WTS. I can hear it now "What happens in the Jehovahs Witness's,Stays in the Jehovahs Witness's". But really does anyone REALLY love Vegas as much as they say. Or are we just parroting what we hear. I will say that outside of the strip,I could see the beauty in the landscape, other than that though...

Gunby, Growning up I didn't want to be like my parents. Who does? Now that I am older I don't mind that I see the similarties. Like I said I have a great relationship with my dad as well as my mom. My parents have been there for me and my siblings at very emotional moments and I wish more people could depend on their family like I can mine. S.

I started to reflect a little and realized that I have alot of his mannerisms. I swore that I would never be like my parents. I must say that I have a great friendship with my pop. I consider him one of my best/closets friends. I like that I see simalarites. Anyone else notice this with your parents? S.

Gregor—A Poster You Should Get to Know
by AuldSoul ini just had a very enjoyable, insightful conversation with gregor, "the kool-aid man".
i learned some things and shared some things, and i think we are both the better for the conversation.. i think it would do everyone a lot of good to occasionally remember that on this forum, due to the limitations of the medium, we can really only see a weird sort of 2-dimensional person (sometimes only a 1-dimensional person) through the posts we read.
i just wanted to let everyone know i am glad i am getting to know gregor.

Robdar, I believe you are right we should take chances. I sometimes get caught up in what I hear in the media. I don't think this is place is turnig into what "myspace" is turning into.S.

I would be very careful contacting posters in person. I think we have all heard the storys about that real nuts out there(here). You should call yourself "Bravesoul". I don't know if I could talk to a poster outside this forum. S.
