while we were taking a break, well it turned out to be not very much of a break because of our still strong feeling for each other (we eventually went from talking every few weeks to once a week and then to everyday again) and things started to get complicated.

well last night we officially decided that it would be best for the both of us to at least part ways for now and end things.

United Nations churches.

it must of been around 1992. i remember all the chatter among local wirnesses was about how the united nations was setting up there own churches around the world.

it seems like there was even a newspaper article to back this up.

it was obvious that this is how governments would finally turn on religion.

I heard this too. Someone even showed some newspaper clipping, I can recall the words: "Everyone will come to know the all loving, all nourishing union God".

What I'm going to say to JWs offering the JW.org tract

listen guys, one month i had some bible thumpers knocking at me door telling me about hell.

then i have some weird fundamental religious sponsored "education books for parents to help their children in school".

the next i have some south korean mother god cult come to my door with qr codes on their literature too.

If they are wearing JW.ORG buttons then I will ask them if they are the religion that doesn't like crosses. I'd then ask them how are the buttons not idolatry.

Then I have some weird fundamental religious sponsored "education books for parents to help their children in school". The next I have some south Korean mother god cult come to my door with QR codes on their literature too. First thing I did was google them to find out about them and turns out they are a cult. First thing I'm going to do is google your group and I'd bet good money you're a cult too. Because only Cults recruit. Religions that actually offer something to people don't have to, the people come to them.

Then I'll try to engage them into a discussion about whether they can hold different opinions from whatever their literature says. Because If not, they how is their religion different from say, North Korea? BAM!

Surreal experience last night.

recently a jw friend that my wife & i knew 3 years ago added me on facebook, after i accepted the request she invited me to a dinner that her and her husband are holding next month.. i imagined that she was unaware of our apostasy, so i declined the invitation on the basis of not wanting to ruin her dinner after the rest of her guests fled at our presence.. i'm never sure how old friends will react when i tell them that i'm no longer a jw.. usually their response is "..... permanent-silence......".

her response went something like this, " we are all out!

everyone that is coming is out we all look forward to seeing you guys so much" it turns out that there will be 6 people at the dinner all friends of ours from a congregation that we attended a few years back.. they have all left the organization recently.. pretty crazy experience..
