  I can understand the "traveling merchants" being the military industrial complex, which I believe is evil based on it's track record. But the military industrial complex doesn't really do business with the WT's babylon the great. So to me it doesn't really compute. I mean, religion buys alot of stuff, but no more than anyone else really.

  i come not "to praise caesar but to bury him", ordinarily.

  however, i offer this thought to you bethel monitors and the governing frauds who keep tabs on what goes on here.. you guys would be well-advised to start your own 2 year college - immediately.. why?

  well, if you are nearing a tipping point about jobs/retirement and college, then you would be well advised to get in front of the movement and capitalize on it!

  BizzyBee, if that is indeed true that attorneys dictate "truth", then it's all a sham.

  It would be very interesting if there was a whistleblower that could share facts regarding WT lawyers preventing the WTBS from dropping the blood issue.

  my wife and i have not even been df'd for a week and an old friend on fb (an inactive jw who has active jw friends who used to be friends of mine) says there's a rumor going around that i'm gay.

  while an earlier version was made available privately the time has come to 'progress'.. conscious class and ex both strongly adhere to not keeping things 'hidden' in regards to wts publications, talks and documents which are circulated in order to maintain it's position.. another wonderful poster (who has yet to give me permission to name) has 'reduced' and 'bookmarked' the first full copy link i was given by our 'winner'.. in this newest and final 'clean' copy link you find two other additions besides the reduction/bookmarking..... the brother who uploaded the entire book wishes all to have a copy that includes both boe ltrs (pre-ks ltr and spiral binding ltr).

  also another development has occurred.... the brother responsible for this book being brought into light and put forth for public consumption and discussion has requested i post this letter explaining to 'us' (jwn posters/global audience) and 'them' (wts of penn & ny).. i ask you give attention to his words/ experiences as he is representative of a newly emerging demographic within the conscious class.

  Thank you 'Brother Johnson', You sound like you've been a joy to ones serving with you for many years. It's truly disheartening to hear them browbeating the faithful older ones of the flock, especially when they should be showing loving care and compassion for them. There will have to answer for this.

  I've done alot of thinking and speculating as to why the BS was ended. For years as everyone has said, we were told it would be the only place to get information during the GT. I started to think that it was that we had to take our spirituality as a family more seriously, since we likely would only have our family to fellowship with. Well, guess it worked. Many of us are waking up the fact that we don't need a talmud or a "big mother" organisation to tell us what to do. We have the same bible and no more of less holy spirit than the next worshiper.

  JW ordered not to contact his ex-wife after admitting harassment

  a jehovahs witness who was desperate to save his marriage has been ordered not to contact his ex-wife after admitting harassment.. james andrew jarrold felt anger and grief about the demise of his relationship, and had a real reluctance about divorce, york crown court was told.. jarrold pleaded guilty to a charge of harassing his former wife, marie jarrold.. chris smith, mitigating, said the 35-year-old, of myrtle avenue, in brayton, had acted during the break up of his marriage when he was desperate to keep any last vestige of hope.. the court heard that between may 2009 and january 2010, jarrold plagued her with phone calls and text messages, contacting her numerous times each day, despite being told she did not want to speak to him.. one of the messages he left read: i hope god curses you with misery.. when she told him to stop contacting her by phone he began sending letters.. rob galley, prosecuting, said the messages and letters were not threatening but the overall picture was a campaign of attrition.. recorder colin burn sentenced jarrold to a two-year community order which will include supervision from the probation service.

  WTF? With all the battered spouses out there, THIS makes news? The guy was a little "stalky", but why do they have to say "Jehovah's Witness" does this? What next, catholic member commits murder? Hmm, why don't we see those stories. This is non news.

  One on one therapy is confidential. Group therapy on the other hand is only as confidential as the person with the loosest lips. Heaven forbid people know that the JWs are imperfect people too that make mistakes.

  I was wrongfully Disfellow shipped out...help

  in 04 i was brought before a comitee of 3 elders and admited to sex before marriage, given my situation at the time i fell short, i showed repentance for it and they said they were going to recomend i leave for awhile to find myself spiritually...(wow the only time they got one right) i did find myself spiritually through other means.

  now i have a question since i no longer want to be a part of this organization and i was cast out from it, shouldnt my records with my personal information be destroyed?

  if its in a file that i do not want to exist?

  If Jesus said to forgive 77 times(in an illustrative way saying not to "keep account of the injury"), then why the need for records of personal sins that don't present a danger to anyone? If Jehovah God doesn't keep account of our sins when we repent, then why does the congregation/organization?
