  Did U Ever Know Of An Elder That Committed A D'Fing Offense While An Elder?

  i used to go to strip clubs with another fellow elder when we would go out of town on "business".

  i believe those lapdances could've gotten us removed.

  Lets see...

  I knew of an elder who was "annointed" who carried on an affair for years with another 'annointed" "sister" .

  I know of an elder who frequented prostitiutes and even spent some time (like a night I believe) in jail for it, and was never even brought before a JC. He is still serving as an elder.

  I know of another elder who did the same thing, but he was DF and his wife and kids left him. This was after YEARS of the wife knowing what he was up too.

  I know another who was on my JC who ended up leaving his wife for another woman.

  Thats all I can remember right now. Such spiritual shepards these guys are.

  my 83 year old grandmother is very sick.

  she has not eaten anything in two days, we tried chicken noodle soup tonight and she just drank the broth.

  anybody have any kind of suggestions i will listen.

  I am sorry about your Grandmother. We have Chrons disease in our family. You need to get her to drink pure Aloe Vera juice, you won't believe the difference. I agree that she needs some kind of protien drink as well, can you get her to drink just plain milk and add some whey protien to it??? Have you tried any appetite increasing herbs, like fenugreek or fennel?? That might help.

  PS. The Aloe has to be pure, not mixed with anything else, 100% no sweetner etc...

  did all of you "sisters" when you were single and growing up in the congregation .

  always dream about marrying a bethelite or encouraged to marry one.

  since they were viewed as "gods".. i remember many years ago single sisters constantly took trips to bethel with the hope .

  Oh God No!!!!! I knew I did not want to be married to a JW. When I was in my late teens I dated some, but knew I didn't want that kind of life, so I usually broke it off pretty quickly. After I moved out, I didn't date JW anymore. Thank goodness!! I can't imagine what a life I would have had if I ended up with one of them. JW for life uuggghhhh!!!!

  i got a pm from gumby this morning.

  as i predicted, he's being love-bombed by the congregation and invited out everywhere.

  part of this is because he was very popular before and is a very likeable guy, but part of it is to try and suck him back in so thoroughly, he'll never be able to escape.

  What's the BIG deal with Bethel?

  i was at my jw's friends house a few days ago and she had a jar on her counter that had "trip to bethel" written on it.. there was some chump change inside.

  i never asked.

  is bethel kind of like mecca?.

  I went when I was 13. I remember my feet hurting like hell and my Mom being pretty grouchy. Other than that, nothing special. I had a much better time with our "wordly" cousin touring the city.

  I had mine done a couple of years ago, and I agree, it hurts like a sonofa!!!!! Especially when you sneeze, or get a nose twitch...pain pain pain. But, it was cute. Can't wait to see pics!!!

  They prey on peoples fears as well. They paint this horrible scene of the end of the world and torture and tribulation and then say they can save you from all that. People that truly fear those things eat it up.

  A Letter from a disfellowshipped JW

  there was a disfellowshipped jw that came to the witness now for jesus convention in pennsylvania.

  we all tried to show him the error of the jw way but he is just so blinded that he couldn't understand what the problem is with jws (can you believe it?!

  ) we tried until we were blue in the face and it seemed that with every step we went forward with him one day, we went back two the next.
