perhaps this is a topic that has been mentioned in older threads, but i would love to hear some thoughts on the matter.. i remember as a youth sitting through the loooong assembly progams bored out of my skull as the monotone speaker was saying something about the angels having a lust for women, or something like that.
it was not uncommon for me to drift off into a nice sexual fantasy, usually a more romantic one that would start with gentle foreplay and end in satin sheets in a candlelit bedroom ... nice.
this seemed to be a habit for many years, particularly before i got married and only got worse after divorce (sometimes i think i'm having a second adolesence).
WOW, who needs Doctors when you can just have sex!!!
when i was disfellowshipped, the elders told me i could have copies of the watchtower and awake and any publications for bookstudy etc, but could not have a kingdom ministry...does anyone know why that rule???
?
Poztate....tiolet paper...thats hilarious!

often in the past, after missing many months of meetings, i just showed up at the hall, and i had such a hard time finding a watchtower magazine, just to follow the study.. even elders were trying to find one for me, and sometimes there was just one left, and often there was none, so i remember being given one from a witness who decided to follow with his spouse in her magazine.. what i'm getting to is that they don't have tons of magazines at the hall, just there waiting for some newbie to show up.. i wonder why they go door to door, if they can't even have a couple of spare watchtower magazines incase a stranger just showed up...
In my old Hell, oops, Hall, there were several copies on a table near the door. The Pioneers got to count them as placements.
driver blames no goats

when canadian police pulled over a speeding swiss driver, the driver claimed he was taking advantage of the ability to drive fast without hitting a goat.
Wow, that was reaching. Crazy what people will say and think its going to sound perfectly normal.
i stopped going to meetings at age 19 or 20. my brother had been df'd.
my sister and her new bethalite husband had left the organization labeled as apostates, and my single mom followed suit.
i was pretty much raised by the congregation, though i lived with my isolated mother.
Welcome to the board. I think its very theraputic to get out all the feelings about JW instead of just blocking it out. You can then move past all th e crap they taught you, and, in my opinion, be content.
i have been in the truth my whole life and tomorrow i turn 32!
the last year i have been fading and haven't been to the kh since the memorial.
i can't tell you how it has been such a heavy burden lifted off my shoulders not to have to worry about so many meetings!!!
I have forgotten about them now. Except when I drive by and see all the cars there...but alther than that, nada!
okay...i tried and failed.
but mr. rat kindly helped me out and hopefully you can see the pics further down this thread!
thank you for your support...mumsy.
