i'm working on starting a personal training business.

i'm twice certified by world instructor training school and american council on exercise.

i was reading along and started to notice that for the dates listed for posts, it all of a sudden jumped from '04 to '05.

i seriously had to check my date/time on the computer to see if i had lost a year!

Daughter Has Lump On Throat

last week, my middle daughter, 15, found a large lump in her throat.

it was about the size of a quarter.

when she pointed it out, it was very visible.. the doctor said, after viewing the ultra-sound pics, that it was either a cyst with an unusual hardened mass inside or a carsanoma, [not sure of spelling] a cancer attached to her thyroid.

Corvin I hope everything goes well for your daughter. When you described the lump in her throat I immediately thought of the lump my daughter had. She had a thyroglossal duct cyst. It was removed and she had no problems. Here are two sites you might want to go to. The first one shows pictures of what it looks like, and the second one explains why it happens.

The grandson i never got to know

lately there has been threads on family members passing and each time i read them it bring up my grandson devon.

i think of him often but these sad threads of family dieing makes me wonder what he would look like ,what his interest would be.

he would have been 7 the first of march but it was not to be.

I "almost" know the pain you are feeling. I can't imagine carrying your grandchild in your car, but I do know the pain of the loss of a child. 27 years ago, April, I lost a son. I remember becoming newly acquainted with a friend and her son was the same age my son would have been. I loved her son so much. Then it hit me on my son's birthday that they were the same age. I couldn't work, I couldn't function. He would have been 16 at the time.

Funny how you don't ever forget how old a child "would have been".

Thunder, to answer your question, for me at least, it does get better but the pain is still always there.

WTS defiance in face of abuse accusations

check out the official jw-media site and find their 'official' response to the accusations of child abuse within its organisation.. they simply feature this quote:.

"people didn't have the body of knowledge 18 or 20 years ago to say that this is something that will harm your child emotionally, if you don't address it.

parents didn't know the seriousness ... and the long-term effects.".

I don't know what the WTBTS is trying to pull here but as I have posted before: This "Dr. Gail Bethea-Jackson, LCSW-C, B.C.D." is not a Dr. at all. Go to: http://www.pathfinderproject.org/pathfoudinfo.htm and you will see that she "is a clinical social worker".

What looks good in black and white does not always mean it is the truth. Just look at the Watchtower and Awakes to know that!
