  Bribes and WTS----HELP

  i remember reading years ago in the watch tower or the awake that it was ok to give a bribe if it was the custom in that particular country.......i don't have the cd rom to search for the article....can anyone here help me out?

  Need Some Advice Please

  as you know i have been posting for a while now and i want to say i am really enjoying it.

  i love everyone here!

  i have noticed many great minds out there and i am in need of some advice, i am looking for some ideas on how to handle a situation.. i left the wt with my family about two years ago now.

  Hi Lilly, Your friend needs to find a job.....where she is feeling so tired by the time she gets home she will not have the time to think about the JWs, and you are right she is still in that JW mode. She really needs to read the CoC book by Ray Franz to get rid of feelings of guilt. She needs approval or forgivness for what ever it was that made her become DF.
  One more thing....she is not aware of how she comes across to other people.....The DFship thing weights heavy on her mind and she really needs professional help.

  well, this takes the cake....i just heard an interview during the kentucky derby preshow, serina williams was being interviewed and was asked if she was going to bet, she said," i don't know anything about it so i' asked the man behind me to tell me which horses and i'll just pay the money.".

  now you can bet and be in good standing..

  just got back from atlanta yesterday, boy oh boy did i have an eatin good time!

  i've been studying with jehovah's witnesses for 4 years and quite frankly love it.

  a bit of background, i am a college educated young man (have a bs in psychology) and am currently a medical student.

  How would you all NOW describe your search for God? Those who are ex-JWs, is your path towards finding the truth about God any clearer since you left? Are you non-denominational now and if so how do you reconcile the bibles words of not forsaking the gathering of brothers and sisters, also of the words of the existence of a united body of christian brothers and sisters.

  
  

  
  I don't have to go to far to find my search for God....He is here all the time.....Yes, my path is much clearer as I can see now that God does not require a man-made organization for me to worship him and his son Jesus Christ.

  The gathering of oursleves together is easy....we find each other without searching and it is amazing how we think alike. All over the world there are believers who are United with Christ in their heart. God and his Son and his Holy Sprit know who they are.
