My anointed mother sleep over!! She hears demon creaking at night and my wife cheats on me!
by Witness 007 invisiting her "lost son" and this morning she says there was demonic "knocking" on the windows and ceiling and she did not sleep.
my wife has her own buisness and works late so her holiness asked me to drive down to see if she was fornicating with anyone....she thinks two worldly people taking an elevator to the 10 floor would have had sex by the 5th floor....thats the quality of anionted alive today...she is not nuts a well respected pioneer nazi..... .

"Demon activity appears to be on the increase, varying in degree and form from place to place. The more prevalent that spiritistic practices are in a certain area, the more problems there are likely to be with demon afflictions and harassment.

Foolishness and idiocy right from the horses mouth. This article scared the $HIT out of me for years as a child. My mentally unbalanced, ultra spiritual witness mother believed this 'hook line and sinker'!
Read the entire article and you will see why there are so many 'crazy' Jehovahs Witnesses.

by Terry in"what was the actual significance of that year, then?".
if jw's were overly zealous, what was the exact amount of zeal encouraged by the wts for a non-event which took up.

The most significant growth in the history of Jehovahs Witnesses took place in the runup years to 1975. To all you lurking Witnesses and apologists: Do you really think that such growth was accomplished by 'a few over zealous' publishers that 'read too much into the 1975 date'?

My opinion is that collectively they probably average under 120. (Just an OPINION of course , like everyone posting here I have no evidence one way or another) It seems to me that they are trapped in what I like to call 'Watchtower Logic'. Since they live, work, emote and think in a 'closed system' they are never able to test their 'wild and wacky religious ideas' against any form of concrete reality. Only when time and concrete reality prove their idiotic prophesying and pontificating to be WRONG (Armageddon in 1914, Return of the prophets in 1925, Organ transplants are cannibalism, and on and on and on.......) will they capitulate and change their mind. "Stupid is as stupid does."

I agree with your theory 100%. My mother died in the year 2000. She had been a staunch Witness since the 1950's. On her deathbed she told me if she 'just held on a few more days......I KNOW Armageddon will come and I will go right into the New System(tm)!' She went into the hospital in November of 1999 and never came out again. Having been told over and over again that she would not die in this system of things it was hard for her to accept the inevitable. She was a 'hardcore' Jehovahs Witness and made my life and my siblings life mostly unbearable while she was alive.

1} on friday oct. 31 1973, when all hell broke loose, the fire alarm in bld.
4 went off at about 9:30. the night watchman could find nothing.

I don't know if James Olson ever talked with the Bethel doctors about his issues. Doctor Dixon and Doctor Roylance were particularly cold hearted S.O.B'S and if he did speak with them I am sure that he never got a 'listening ear'. When I spoke with Doctor Roylance about some of my issues he said to me: "If you can't take it here at Bethel then you can always leave." Hoser hit the nail on the head when he posted:"Shame on the Watchtower for treating people worse than animals."

as well as another fellow named john taylor (the great pyramid (1859) and built a grand bit of humbug theology.

What is the ONE consistent fact we can state about Jehovah's Witness teaching and Doctrine?
by Terry inuntil the scientific method came along, your guess was as good as mine.. science differed from opinion by qualifying hypothesis with testing and something called falsifiability.. what was it?.
you have to find a way to state a scientific theory by making it disprovable!.
if you have the theory "all swans are white" it is testable and disprovable how?.
