It's utter madness, but nothing surprises me when it comes to the Muslim faith. They're nearly as mad as the JW's.

dansk's christmas tree thread got me to thinking .. in this house we do not celebrate since my wife is still a die hard dub.

i have no complaints about that, it was our joint choice for decades and i an the one that changed .but as witnesses we were always given the negative view of the holiday time :-.

"people feel that they just have to do it although they do not really want to".

I love Christmas, but it still doesn't feel 100% natural. 35 years of not celebrating I suppose. I reckon another 5 years of celebrating should kill that feeling.

Baptism of minors - scriptural evidence?

hi, i have done a search on previous posts, and couldn't find anything since 2002. is there any scriptural evidence for baptising children early?

how do the dub's justify this?.

my son takes his 7yo & 4yo to the meetings, against my daughter in law's wishes.

I work in retail and all our Christmas stock starts coming into store at the end of September, Christmas decs have been up for ages in John Lewis where I work.

And for the record, the Christmas shoppers are out in force and we are taking thousands of pounds every day on the Clarins counter that I work on.

As for Christmas music, I haven't heard any yet.

i am due my baby in 2 days time (friday 9th nov).. i have no idea what its going to be, and i dont have any inklings, so the field is wide open.

heres some detail to help you, and remember no babies will be hurt in the making of these bets!

last baby was a girl 10 years ago, but i had a really strong feeling it was going to be a girl.

OMG I had wondered where you had got to and what you were doing since the apostacurry.

Little did I know that you had been doing the wild thang and getting yourself with child. A million congrats.

Hope the baby comes before you're induced, I'm guessing the 18th at 4pm, definitely a girl weighing 8lb 6oz.

Also hope your labour is quick and pain free, and that the baby has 2 arms, 2 legs, 1 head, 10 fingers, 10 toes and everything in it's rightfull place.
