In the UK the hospital can apply to have the child made a ward of court which gives the doctors the right to administer blood if they deem it necessary. I know of 2 JW children given blood due to this law.

Just found this- refusing blood for minors
by Lillith26 ini when to many 'meetings' at the kh as a study, and i also watched the dvd the wtbts use to premote their no blood propaganda, but i dont remember anything being said about how legal it is to refuse blood for minors in our own country!
in australia their are laws in place to protect children from the 'religious claims' of their parents in life threatening situations.... are there lwas like this where you live???.

You can leave the organisation, but still love and serve God and Jesus. Then you get the best of both worlds. You can start to live a normal life and you can caring on worshipping in a way that is right for you. Please don't throw away your life worrying about man-made rules and doctrines. Life really is too short for all that. I wish you well, and hope you make the right decision.

It's one of the best films I have ever seen, I absolutely loved it. I cannot believe the quality of the acting from the children in this film, absolutely superb.
I can't recommend it highly enough, it takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions and keeps you spellbound throughout. It certainly deserves all the awards it's been receiving.

Hi Marjorie, just to tell you a little about the funeral.
The service itself was lovely. As you may or may not know, Ian really didn't have any religious beliefs, so he asked a friend of his (Mike) to say a few words. Mike was extremely emotional, but he got throught it all beautifully. He spoke about Ian's life, and his great loves, which of course were his family, his home and nature.
All of Ian's immediate family were present, his wife, all four of his children and his sister. Also many of Ian's friends were present too. Everyone was very upset, but we all felt positive and uplifted by Mike's words. At the end of the service, Mike allowed a minute's silence to allow anyone with religious beliefs to say their own personal goodbyes to Ian. Then to finish, they played a piece of music, 'Search for the Hero Inside Yourself' by M-People. Very moving.
We were glad we went, but are so sad to have had to say goodbye to Ian. He was such a lovely human being. However, he has left a little of himself behind in his four lovely children. We only have a few memories of him, but his kids and Claire have thousands, and I hope that is a comfort to them. They will all be in our thoughts over the next few weeks and months.
Marie.

You should make a stand and not attend yourself! Set a 'sane' example to the others!!!!
