  The time of your life...or... Time IS your life

  its the only thing we have control over..time that is...we can choose to do with it what we will.. how much we give to others, to a cause, to a religion, to an ideal..we have dominion over our time...our choice of allocation to that specific arena in the passage of life.. we hurt ourselves we we give minutes or hours to pursuits that dont match our own ideals or beliefs..... seventy years is not long in terms of minutes or hours..... as an ex witness, i came to the conclusion recently that the biblical issue is really between god and his son satan....we just got caught up in it.

  i no longer have the time or the energy to pursue a mans interpretation of what is the correct view or stance or attitude to have in regard to what the bible is all about, all i can do is say... .. " god...im lost, confused and dissapointed that it wasnt clearer...and how come you gave very clear direction to your servants in the bible, but the wt organisation seem to just limp from one opinion to another..and how come not a single book containing important prophecy interpretation by the spiritual director fred franz in still in print or refered to?".

  Ruminations..whatever that means....

  i read with interest java;s post re: a therapists view of leaving a restrictive religion.. using my own experiences, and those of others on the board, it would appear that there are only two ways to go, and one path that has to be taken in order to make sense or order of the situation.. i had to ask myself and do some heavy research as to what i no longer believe and why.. this is my present understanding on the matter.. shunning is a defence mechanism for the protection of the wtbts in order to keep members in and neutralise bad press.. 1914 would seem to be in serious error as a correct date in the chronology.. dichotomies exist within the organisation as to the anointed of god, the governing body and rulership thereof.. continual guessing and speculation of dates throughout its brief history, is unscriptural, unbalanced and just plain deceitful.. the elder arrangement is not working.

  it is run on a set of cast in stone rulings from the governing body and proves no function other than to keep dissedents in check.... there is no real human love in any of the arrangements despite the usage of the words.. disfellowshipping destroys families regardless of the public message promoted by the wtbts.. disfellowshipping utilises, grief, sorrow, unworthiness, shame, hurt, physical seperation and unjust means to whip someone to their senses..or return with a broken spirit to be in servitude forever.. being a member of the wtbts is seriously ijurious to personal mental health.. i no longer believe that the wtbts has a clear direction from the creator, i no longer believe that the message of urgency is based on accuracy or common sense.

  i no longer believe that there is a common goal anymore, it has been surpassed by maintaining and increasing material possessons.

  a new religion?

  ok. i finally went and got myself well and truly immersed in the lawful side of being ordained as a religious minister...yes folk, all the legals have been truly investigated and complied with and i can now well and truly start my own church and take weddings and funerals etc.... now...i dont want to be a "reverend".. but i do want to well and truly investigate the entire bible to see what the real message is..and i want to see where i/we go from here.... if any one is serious about pursuing some serious bible discussion...then email me.... thats all the well and trulys for this evening lol

  how far down the path is it before the changes take place.

  im pretty sure its different for everyone.

  the time taken to recognise that things have changed permanently...depends on factors like acceptance, circumstances and willingness to deal with it.. im talking about the realisation regarding the wtbt society.

  Reason gifted......

  for those of us who are european, we know first hand the brutality of terrorism.

  england endured attacks from the close neigbour northern ireland for a long time, italy france and spain, along with germany endured homegrown versions of the same.. the us finally joins the ranks of the rest of the planet, in having more than a taste of the evilness of brutal sudden invasion of familiar and personal territory, and will have to grow up fast in the realities of the way of the world.. i awoke early this morning to the pictures of death and mayhem, and my mind turned back over the past 20 some years of my experience with the aftermath of violent conflict, be it one sided, sudden and devasting in its effect.

  the memory bank started in overtime, recalling the so familiar pattern of emotions, numbness, shock, fear, despair, anger, sadness....and now i watch the same thing hit the shores of america, affecting all the peoples as if they were one.. as a person, once closely involved in the repair of humanity, both physical and mental, my heart grieves for those that have suddenly lost loved ones, for those who will forever be affected by the inflicting of one persons ideas and actions upon others....it is wrong and unloving, and oh so very human...to decide that ones personal message or belief is of greater import than others.. the american authorities will speed up their work to find the perpertrators of this heinous action, and then we will see if the present government is strong enough to keep this country together without inflicting the residents with yet another long drawn out war because of revenge.

  moving on to other things...

  for those who have left the confines of regulated thinking, either voluntarily or by being thrown out...and who currently are lost....where to now?.

  i took time to read a few books, do some research and recharge.

  i received some very nice emails from total strangers who encouraged me with their loving concern, and to all those i say a heartfelt thank you.. yesterday, a long chat between isp and myself left me thinking..what do we believe anymore?

  Do you get it yet?

  there are about 6 billion people that live on this planet today.

  it is most intriguing to realize that we are nearly all identical.

  our genetic, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual similarities far outweigh our differences.. humans are human whether primitive or industrialized, male or female, african, asian or caucasian, or tall or short.. the paradox is that each of us also feels so unique that we spend the greater part of our lives trying to explain ourselves to each other in the hope that we can be heard or understood, as if no one else could possibly know what it is like to live in our skin.. if we can agree on nothing else, we seem to agree that one of the primary threads that run throughout all of human existence is struggle.

  Point of Clarity.

  the anointed.. according to common belief among jw's, the anointed class are the only recipients of the christian greek scriptures, that is to say, it is aimed directly for the ones with the hope of heavenly association with jesus christ.. now, we have been taught that the anointed class are here to teach, and help the secondary class, ie the earthly hopers, to learn about jehovah and his promises, and by association with them....gain salvation through the ransom sacrifice.. so, according to published figures, there are between 8 and 9 thousand partakers of the emblems left on earth.

  correspondingly, according to written word from the gb, the sealing of the anointing concluded in 1935.. the latest additions to the governing body, are in their 50s.. the governing body membership fluctuates from 4 to 18 depending on where in the 20th century, 21st century it was at the time.. the society is not really aware of the names addresses or reliability of those claiming to be anointed, or indeed take messages or advice from them.. let me get this right.

  the christian greek scriptures give the commission to all those sealed in knowledge with christ to preach and teach and do the work.
