What to say about the magazines. June 2007 (Evil,Money&Creator)

after the recent thread about keeping control of the question when talking to dubs, i decided to try something.

i'm gonna type up the sudgested presentations for this months magazines and books, then i'm going to give my reccomendations on what to say.. this month it's the awake on money which there are two presentations for, the watchtower on evil, and another watchtower about morals.

then the books are the family happiness book, and the is there a creator who cares book.

It's funny how deferent our thinking becomes when
we are on guard of those who want to take control of your life.

I think it is healthy to express our feelings and thoughts and who knows maybe you just might
spark something inside the JW's mind to get them
to wake up out of the spell of the WTS.

The Great Tribulation is picking up speed!!!!!!!!!!!!

the tribulation is really starting to speed up it's pace.

i just read that atleast 3 types of animal and plant life go extinct every hour.

global warming threatens the entire planet, crimes against women and children are at a all time high, honeybees dying off for unexplained reasons, the threat of nuclear war, the ravage of infectious disease.

my "father" decided to send me an email!

and here we go... my "father", an abusive bastard of a jw, recently sent me an email that put me in a tizzy!

it was late friday night, i had just gotten home from a shift at a local bar where i bartend on occasion!

Reading that just reminded me of my dad. He does the same thing. My dad isn’t a witness, but acted the same way
like nothing is wrong and says “I was a good father “. Ya right. My wife and I after years of abuse finally diagnosed
him as Bi polar or manic. But it is very weird that they don’t get it.
Actually I think one of the reasons I was attracted to the “truth” was because of the abuse as a child by him plus on top of
that loosing my mom to cancer when I was seven.

Well it’s good to vent. It takes time to heal. Just don’t act like him. That’s what I did in the beginning. It’s scary when you
catch yourself doing the same things to others that he did to you.

Crises of Conscience

i just finished the book by ray franz, coc, and for some reason i'm madder than ever at this organization!!!

i've been out for over 20 years and now i'm even more pissed off!!!!

why am i so angry at things i already knew although i'm sure i've just repressed them over the years and got on with my life, anyone else have this anger problem after reading this book, or is it just me??.

Thats how I felt too, angry and I just had to tell someone. Thats where you get in trouble.

You can't just start talking to the people you thought were your friends. That's what I did and

I got what Middlechild got, shunned. At least it did'nt get back to the elders so I didn't have to

face that.

Ray's next book was very good. It really helped me to get a clearer picture on scriptures or

at least a different look at them. I think his book along with all the information and discussion you

get here and through other web sites helps you to defend yourself spiritually when talking

with others.

Hang in there, the anger will pass.

Just do the best you can.

Well not new to the site, but never made a formal introduction. So hello everyone!
First like to thank those who put this site together and make it possible for us who
need a place to go and work things out. I have been reading post on this site for
a little more than a year.

I’m still in good standing, but haven’t been to a meeting in a long time. My wife is
a JW and just doesn’t seem to see what I see. The elders in the Hall I think have
an idea that I’ve been turned by “ apostate “ ideas. I’ve had a few of the friends
come by and visit me and it’s so sad because I want them to see all the b.s. that I see.
It’s a trip listening to jw’s talk now that I’m on the out side. When you get away from it
everything seems much clearer. It’s very hard to explain to others who aren’t jw’s.

What made me introduce myself after so long a time of coming here reading posts?
………dono. But something happen to me a few weeks ago that made me feel a
certain feeling that only those that have been disfellowshipped can feel. It really made
me think of how the “ friends “ can turn on you in a heart beat.

Here is what happen. I’ve talked to a couple of the “ friends “ that have come by to
see me and well you know how it is they start to asking and you start to talking a little to much.
Anyway rumors start to fly and you know how fast that happens as a JW.

A witness friend stops by and invites my wife and I to dinner on the weekend. So that was
Tuesday and by Saturday I get this call from this “ friend “ and he tells me that there is a
problem. I said oh what’s wrong? He says that one of the friends that were coming over
heard that I was going to be there and told them they were not coming. Well he asked
if it was true that I didn’t believe in God. I said what!.....of course I believe in God.

I told him don’t worry about it I’ll stay home.
I couldn’t believe that I was being shunned and I hadn’t done
anything wrong. My wife was very hurt. I was hoping that would of
caused something in her to click and get her to start to question her
belief in the WTS. I could only hope. For those who have never been
shunned by those you thought cared about you is truly an eye opener and
that’s why I felt I had to post it.

I want to thank you in advance for all the welcomes. My time is very limited
with work and all. Plus, I don’t like to be here on the forum when my wife is home.

Keep up the good work in exposing the WT for who they really are and pray for
our loved ones who are slaving for the Org.
