is he a molester?
a nut?
a gifted musician??
Also, in the 1993 case, Vanity Fair had a long article about it. The kids dad is a movie producer, and asked Jackson to finance his movie, which I believe turned out to be Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. Jackson said no, and the kids dad told him he would seek revenge in the worst way.
Perhaps Jackson was not guilty then, but maybe it was easier to pay 15 or more million in order to not have to go through what he is right now. I could see that.
All it takes is doubt, and that alone could cost him a lot of money, or perhaps prison. That first kid could have lied through his teeth, but we would all wonder. Just plant a seed, and it messes with ones mind.
i think hung jury.
second choice, found not guilty.. this family is going to get pummeled in court.
the kids 18 year old sister is already not looking credible on the stand, let alone the mom, and the two brothers.. they will be shown without doubt to be greedy, money hungry liers.

It will be very interesting to see what happens with the trial.
Just because he is weird, does not make him an abuser.
No question he left himself wide open to problems like this. I would like to think he is completely innocent, yet very naive.
The biggest problem here is that the accusing family is SOOO not credible. They have a big history of lying for financial gain, and this could be their lottery.
.
my parents go to a catholic church, and they say that the average age is in the 60's.. at the kh, the average age is about 30, if you calculate the age of the children too.. theoretically, the average age of witnesses should go up with time .
if less and less people become witnesses, the average age should go up, just like traditional religions....no?.

There is no question that was the leaning of the WTS organization in the late 60's and early 70's. That was taught from stage, talked about in assemblies.
Even one governing body member announced from stage: "You don't hear us talking about 1976, do you??"
Anyone from Santa Clara or San Jose?
I was there, but I was only 7 years old, so I don't remember too much about that time.
hitting the road in something like this: .
chase the sunshine and warm weather... see the good ole usa in style... i wanna travel!
waaaaaaaaaaaa
I read an article recently that said that 1 out of every 12 homes has an rv in the US.
after reading some threads today, it got me thinking.
so many times people on this board talk to witnesses who come to the door, but then tough questions are asked, and they say they will come back.
but so many times they never show again.. when you went out in service, did you make an effort to go back?.

I don't remember not going back specifically because someone asked me a tough question. I simply didn't like going back to the house. Ok, here are this weeks magazines. I didn't know what to say to these people. I actually preferred a new house instead.
Are perhaps some of the people at the door actually becoming smarter about the witnesses, and therefore give them a harder time?
two lovely "sisters" came to visit this morning.
it was pretty hysterical because my nine year old ran up to my bedroom yelling "mom the jewish people are at the door".
i'm like "what jewish people"?
Good for you to talk these gals at the door. I wouldn't hold my breath on them returning, however. But maybe you gave them something to think about.
