now they are remaking that movie.. i watched the superman cartoon series and the the tv series.
You know you are getting older when you visit an amusement park, and you really don't care on how many rides you go on, if any, or if you leave early.
When I was a kid, when I went to the amusement park, it was a complete failure if you did not go on every ride at least once, stayed from opening to closing, and went upside down on the rides many, many times.
i was watching tv a little bit ago, and they had a quick one minute total break showing the tropical storm, and then spent 30 solid seconds talking about the witnesses at the district convention this weekend in san diego.. they showed a few from the audience looking as bored as could be, and then showed some getting baptized.
i was very suprised they would take the time to show that.
as if anyone cares.
The news agency actually named the convention theme, and talked about it briefly. I am sure they were reading a statement by someone at the convention.
I have seen a quick news clip before, usually regarding traffic because of a JW event at the stadium, but this time it went much further.

My in-laws who are still quite active feel that all three of their children will not make it through armegeddon, and then it will be just the two of them.
My wife and her siblings found an anniversary card from one parent to the other, and in it was written how they feel. Though they love their children dearly, the card states something to the effect of "at least we'll have each other in the new order."
And this comes from two college educated people who got sucked into the WTS.

hi all, i've been gone for a little while, but i'm back and i wanted to get some opinions.
back in april i told you guys that i sent out my da letter to the congregation, our family, and some of our witness friends.
well, we got a letter in response from two elders by certified mail.
What annoys me is that the WTS make everyone in the hall think that they are the only ones doing any good out in "the world."
The fact is that many churches and other organizations do a lot of great work, and much more of it than the witnesses. But the rank and file will never know, because they are not allowed to find out.
had a bizzare experience last night.
i went to see the movie mr. and mrs. smith (which, by the way, was pretty decent).
my girlfriend and i showed up about 20 minutes before the show started, so we picked out some seats and then each went to the restroom in turn while the other watched the seats.
I have no doubt it was much worse for them than it was for you.
Too bad they just don't know how to react.
As mentioned earlier, I agree that the thing to do is at the exact moment of recognizing each other, you go and say hi. Before there is time for anything else.

It really depends on how much I got.
If I won 4 or 5 million, even paid in cash, yes I would still work. Though, I would use that money to make even more money.

the irony of it all is it happened during vacation bible school this week in my church's sanctuary.
it felt good.
I enjoy saying it, though it still feels strange to do so.
i love giving and helping people.

In my case, really no one knows how to get a hold of me, and the last congregation I was involved with, very few gave a rats ass anyways. I doubt if they even remember me.
That being said, if they did somehow find me, and confronted me, I would let them know that I have not pretended to be a witness in any way shape or form, that no one knows me around here anyways, so I am no threat to their congregation. If however, they insisted on a stance from me one way or another, and if I didn't they would do it for me, I would make it very clear that if they take any action, that I would not only sue the WTS, but each one of them personally. I would let them know that I have the financial means to do so, and I will go all the way. I will remind them that the WTS will not back them up, and they will have to pay the tens of thousands in attorneys fees themselves if they decide to go ahead.
