  I am totally against abortion as a method of birth control. I am against it when someone just finds it bothersome to have a child. I certainly do believe that it is a child from the beginning.

  However, I am torn when it comes to if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, or when the doctors know for a fact that the child is severely disabled, etc.

  Just got home from the assembly!!!!! How fortunate I am!!!!

  okay i just returned from the assembly in historic amherst, mass.

  i justlove the old houses in that town very nice.

  anyways to recap the good parts, first off obedience.

  It amazes me how so many witnesses go to the assemblies, and just suck it all in. Same stuff, year after year. I have not been to a assembly in about 8 years, and it doesn't sound like I missed anything. Except the hot sun and hard seats.

  How I got out of JWs, they showed me the way!

  i have been writing 'my story' in bits and pieces here.

  it was pouring out, one of the kids sick, jw husband wasn't going.

  i got in the car (this little hatch-back car was a loaner from the garage because our larger car was being repaired) i was stopped at a stop sign and i was on time for the meeting.. i heard something and turned in time to see something coming at me fast.

  Though I know that there are those witnesses that do care, as a whole it is sad to see what really happens when someone needs a helping hand.

  Everyone goes their seperate ways because they can't be bothered.

  Not as well known, but Laurence Juber is a fantastic guitar player. Played with Paul McCartney and the Wings as lead guitarist.

  I have met him several times, and is a very nice guy. Gets standing ovations a lot!

  I believe he has released about 10 c/d's, and specializes in classical guitar.

  i saw something i never considered possible before ... perhaps this is a sign of the days ahead for the watchtower society.

  i was on the south side of chicago today, showing a large property to an investor.

  the area i was in was fairly nice, somewhat middle class in appearance.

  I would imagine this gal has emotional problems, and maybe had a witness background. Quite possible she picked up the magazines someone public and took them to make some money.

  Too bad you were not in a position to have a conversation with her. That might have been quite entertaining.

  in view of the transit bombings, do you feel that police should be able to search you or your bags at anytime?

  You know what? In this day and age, it has become neccessary for bags to be searched at times. It really is for the safety for everyone involved. Is it irritating? Sure, I would rather not have to walk through metal detectors, be searched, etc. But, I would rather feel safe.

  So big deal. If you have things you don't want others seeing, then figure something else out, or stay at home.

  Divorce after 20 years ?

  i was talking to a friend the other day, he told me that he wanted to get married but there was a problem with that.

  he told me that he and his wife split over 20 years ago and he does not know where she is.

  he said he has looked and cannot find her so he can file divorce papers.

  Your friend needs to get an attorney to file appropriate paperwork. Shouldn't be a problem at all.
