  Anyone have ever seen a ghost (spirit)?

  when i was going at the kingdom hall with my father (i was very young), it happened from time to time that the subject of spirits entered in the conversation.

  then at this point, it seemed that everyone had their own little story to tell about the spirits of the devils.. .

  personnally, i'm always skeptic about these things and i won't believe it until i see it.

  Yes the house I grew up in had a ghost, or whatever you want to call it.

  I have experienced it, and I know it is real. What was it exactly? I don't know. I suspect he was the original owner of the house which was over a hundred years old. All I really know is that it wasn't of this world, as we know it.

  I understand those who don't want to believe, however, I think it is very narrow minded of those who choose to blast someone who has experienced this type of thing, just because they never experienced it.

  i swear we could write a novel about our life exiting the watchtower!!

  ok..many of you read what happened..our house was egged and so was my sisters car that was parked here, and "frosty" was attacked!!

  I noticed a few people referring to possible hate crime charges and I agree. The act was vandelism, but the spirit behind it was the hatred of JW's who left the organization. From what I understand, that turns into a hate crime, and that is much more severe than possible 30 day sentence.

  after 20 years, there is some talk of a possible reunion for the police, including sting.. they are going to do something to celebrate 30 years after roxanne came out, and apparently there are discussions of more!

  if they go on tour, will you go?

  i will for sure, for memories and history!

  I think most people who have problems with muli level businesses it is usually with the distributor, rather than the business itself. When looked at as a business, there are some scams for sure, but many are solid companies, and fortunes have been made. There are many legit people and companies out there.

  If someone is looking to purchase any product at all from a MLM, then buy it, but make sure it meets your needs.

  In the case of Pre Paid legal, it really doesn't cover that much stuff. A few things, but all in all, if you find yourself in a jam, they will usually be of little help. They can be good for wills, a quick letter, or something to that effect, sometimes discounts on rates.

  when you will have been an exjw for as long as you were a jw?.

  i was raised in the jws from before the age of 10, and stopped going to the kh at the age of 31. i was involved with the jws for a total of 23 years.

  i will be 54 years old by the time i have spent more of my life as an exjw than i did as a jw..

  DOES ANYONE STILL NOT CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS???

  just wondering if anyone still does not celebrate xmas since leaving jws.....or like me do you think"to hell with it", and join in the festivities.

  if you do celebrate it, do you still have pangs of guilt for celebrating this "pagan" festival???.

  Still doesn't do much for me. Love watching my son get excited about it though. I do enjoy the lights and general festivities at this time of year.

  every now and then these come along, and i experience a few emotions or thoughts.

  I had never seen this actor in anything before, so didn't know what to think going in.

  Afterwards, I loved it. Looking forward to the next one. I guess the powers to be knew what they were doing when they gave him the role.

  friendship comes in all stages, shapes, and sizes, from the very close, as brothers, built over a lifetime, to the budding kind that has only a few months or a year or two.

  i have been friends with sam (fictious name) for about seven years.

  we are not real close friends, but have a good quality relationship that is mostly confined to the office.. recently, sam told me that he had an issue with a female agent who tried to get him fired.

  This has been around for quite awhile.

  Kinda funny, but totally made up. You can tell from the "witness" they didn't know what they were talking about. She is saying they are going to hell, which we all know we didn't talk like that, come on we didn't believe in hell.

  Refreshments offered before the meeting on the weekend. Yeah I don't think so.
