Possible Police Reunion?
by freedom96 inafter 20 years, there is some talk of a possible reunion for the police, including sting.. they are going to do something to celebrate 30 years after roxanne came out, and apparently there are discussions of more!
if they go on tour, will you go?
i will for sure, for memories and history!

Fantastic end to police chase
by freedom96 ini couldn't help but smile at the news last night.
here in san diego, 3 guys are being chased by the police while driving their stolen car.
the fog gets quite thick, so the police stop the chase, but then realize that the car they were chasing pulled over.

Do they allow internet at bethel?

just curious, with all the internet bashing, etc, if a bethelite wanted to have internet access in their room, would it be allowed.. if so, i wonder if they monitor the activity?

Did the meetings ever really help you in life??
by freedom96 injust thinking to myself a few minutes ago about the meetings, and i was comparing it to the non-denominational church my family and i have been attending.. the last few months the pastor has been talking from ephesians.
taking just a few verses at a time, and discussing them in detail, and at the same time applying in our personal lives.. today, for example, he talked about being an employee at a job, and what the bibles thoughts were on that.
next week he will discuss about if we are the employer.

Is it worth it?

just recently, he agreed to look at the reasons why my wife and i don't go to the meetings anymore.
he is very active, so i was suprised to hear that he wants to know why.

JW's on the news WITH a CROSS
by freedom96 inlast night i posted about the witnesses being on the news with a clip of the assembly in san diego.. well, when the news actually came on at 10, they had a full news segment on the assembly.
quite extensive, and even interviewing the chairman of the convention.. here is the kicker:.
during the entire segment, big bold letters stating jehovah's witnesses.

JW's on the news today
by freedom96 ini was watching tv a little bit ago, and they had a quick one minute total break showing the tropical storm, and then spent 30 solid seconds talking about the witnesses at the district convention this weekend in san diego.. they showed a few from the audience looking as bored as could be, and then showed some getting baptized.
i was very suprised they would take the time to show that.
as if anyone cares.

Possible Jackson show at Vegas
by freedom96 indonald trump and some others have a vested interest in some casinos in vegas.
trump has expressed some interest in having michael jackson perform at one of the casinos.
he has back peddled some, but still, it gives an interesting idea.. i would imagine it would be quite a show.. the question i have for you is, would you go see it?

special announcement today?
by freedom96 inmy teenage son is visiting this week, and was concerned that he was missing the "special announcement" being made today.
he was very suprised that i already knew about the awake being only once a month.
i told him i knew of that several months ago.

ok, door to door question.......
by freedom96 ini am always teasing my wife about having a "country club" upbringing as a witness.. in the hall i grew up in, and those i attended for a few years after turning 18, were pretty hard core.
i tease her about how easy she had it.
which, in my mind was clearly the case, but that is another story.. this case involves going out in service.. in my halls, you went out almost regardless of weather.
