i was checking jwd and just received a call from an older sister to check on me and see how i was doing.. right off the bat she started telling me how hard times are and everybody is depressed and having a tough time, .
on and on and on and how the new system is the only releif and hope we have..........well i could feel my blood boiling and put a stop to it .
and just reminded her i just don't believe anymore, i have no more faith but i'm doing just fine and i'm very happy and things are going well for me.. well, she didn't know what to say after that and started once again how jehovah is blessing the organization since there are more than 900 kh.

I agree. I've had that same thing happen to me and when I said that I was happy she looked at me like I was lying. Had no result. For people that are supposed to be so positive they sure don't know how to react to positive answers. I find it so funny and fulfilling when that happens.

I was going to ask for money one time but after hearing that I would have to pay it back. I was told by the elders to see what I could do to get the help first and then come back to them if I still needed it. I was unemployed at the time and needed help with the rent....a single mother mind you.
I went to a church instead who helped without any questions.
Didn't even ask for the money back.

the reason why i ask is because whenever u are df and u are trying to get reinstated they are always tellling u that u have to produce fruits befitting repentenace like attending the meetings,etc.

I heard that same crap. As someone brought out before...they've been told that it leaves more time for the ministry and congregating with each other (the changing of the meetings part). But have they considered that in field service they'll be using gas. Or is there a difference because a few will be using vehicles not everyone. Dummies....

when i woke up this morning to get the kids off to school my hubby was in bed wimpering because of the pain.. my daughter made a card for her father, coming from my daughter means so much to my hubby cuz it's from his only girl who's finally treating him like a daddy (she's pushed him away since she was a baby and with hubby's sickness they've been spending more time together).
