Some Elders Have Had Mistress'

being in the org for a very long time i have seen people do all kinds of things .

one thing that i have never really seen discussed is how common it is for an elder to have a mistress in the background.

oh he may not be actually sleeping with her, but i personally for over 20 years was a second "wife "to an elder.

I lost my dad to the other woman the same way my mother did.

Even though I have known quite a few elders personally, none have ever had reason to confide infidelities to me. I must say though, that I noticed and found it disturbing that such a large number of married brothers had affairs with young sisters. It ended up that they left their wives for the young sisters, were disfellowshipped, and both the teenage wife and older brother were reinstated a short time after and lived happily ever after. Almost like no harm, no foul......So much for "wait on Jehovah, the new world is around the corner." they wanted younger wives NOW......

i guess weve been away from the kh long enough for only a handful of them to know where we live.

I have to agree with this one. Even though my mother was not a JW at the time, had never even attended a meeting, and was in a depression over the loss of a baby, and my father had been inactive for years, a zealous pioneer sister convinced my father that I needed a Bible study, at nine years old, and proceeded to inform my school, without my mother's knowledge, that I would not be pledging alliegence to the flag or singing Christmas carols any longer because my father was "studying" with Jehovah's Witnesses.

Seattle Times reporter calls about more victims

bruce baker, who led the press conference a week ago, in seattle, just called to tell me that the reporter who wrote the article for the seattle times, had called him to say there were 36 victims who replied to her after her article came out.

they all have told her the information is correct, but that they are fearful of "coming out" because they are still active jw's, and are in fear of being df'd.

she is planning an in-depth article in the times to correspond with the march on september 27.. stay tuned.

During the same time Mike became a volunteer member of the Watchtower Education Center Regulatory Services Department at Patterson, New York. He specialized in soil and vegetation analysis of nutrient cycling for a pilot study of New York State's first permits to utilize tertiary treated sewage effluent for agricultural irrigation in a public watershed. This involved using 30,000 gallons daily from the Watchtower Treatment Facility for campus landscape irrigation. The New York City Dept. of Environmental Protection closely scrutinized this project for its beneficial downstream effects, in reducing nutrients in the watershed by vegetative uptake and fixing. During this project, Mike studied water recycling systems in Florida and California to learn the methodology of environmental analysis.

ok, here's the wires that I said I'd post in JWrobot's thread for Free and anyone that's interested. It looks like Reg Resources was into drilling, became Reg Tech around '93, obtained 40% of Rand Technologies whom I assume is Regi, because later obtained another 11% to have a controlling interest in the engine. Rand Technologies, at least from a 2000 wire, appeared to be a non-franchised distributor of electronic components. Rand also has Rand Technologies of Michigan, Inc. and Rand Worldwide.

Resources Corp. (VSE: RRE) said it has optioned 103 units covering
6,300 acres adjacent to its Silverknife holdings in northern
British Columbia from the joint venture of Packard Resources Ltd.
(VSE: PAD) -- 75 percent -- and International Megaline
Resources Ltd., 25 percent. This strategic land holding
lies between the known deposits of Marbaco and Regional Resources:
140,000 tons grading 10.7 ounces a ton of silver and 8.84 percent
combined lead/zinc, and 6 million tons grading 11.7 ounces a
ton of silver and 18 percent combined lead/zinc, respectively.
By completing a minimum of $250,000 of exploration by
December 1987, Reg will earn a 51 percent working interest
in the property, provided that $50,000 of the work is completed
by December 1985 and an additional $100,000 by December 1986.
Geochemical sampling completed by Packard and Megaline discovered
three anomalous zones, one of which is ready to test by drilling.
In addition, favorable stratigraphy exists, as noted by engineer
Gary Medford in a 1984 report. "Packard's claims cover geological
formations which are the extension of those found on Regional
Resources' ground, as well as those which host the significant
marbaco deposit on the western boundary of the claim group,"
the report stated.
More recently, geophysical work completed by Noranda crews
on Reg's behalf indicate that a favorable host limestone traverses
the 4-kilometer width of Packard's claims.
Reg Resources will raise $273,000 via a private placement
that was approved May 24. Work is scheduled to start on Packard's
property in early June, and will include testing of at least
one of the anomalies by drilling, Reg Resources added.

I don't know which is more amazing, that the WTS ADMITTED to registering with the DPI, which is a PRINCIPAL ORGAN OF THE UNITED NATIONS, or that any members that learn of it accept an excuse from the WTS! (yea, honey, actually I had been sleeping with that whore that I've always claimed was the most revolting, disgusting, filthy, vile, lying, oozing, foul beast, but you see babe, I needed access to her great book collection. But I'm glad that someone brought it to my attention because, oh my, well I guess I still wouldn't know that I was sleeping with her.)

Even if the WTS's excuse was true, which we know it isn't, why in the world would God's earthly organization associate with the SCARLOT-COLORED WILD BEAST in order to gain access to books about issues that it claims only Jehovah is capable of ridding the world of anyway! i.e. health, ecological, and social problems! Isn't that what the WTS teaches, that man is uncapable of solving these problems!

and as for the DPI not really being a part of the UNITED NATIONS, which is what I heard from a JW relative, the UN has a nice organizational chart, "The Principal Organs Of The United Nations," which shows the six organs. The Secretariat organ is on the right of the chart, which the DPI is under. I printed the chart out and the visual aid speaks louder than words.
