  A claim to Beth Sarim

  my great grandmother, who has been in the truth forever, just told us a funny story and i thought i would share it with all of you.. we were discussing judge rutherford and she said that she was living in california at the same time as rutherford was living in beth sarim.

  the papers at that time ran an article about rutherford and that beth sarim had been purchased especially for moses, abraham and other old faithful servants.. well, one day a hobo came to the door and claimed that he was abraham and that he came to take possession of his home.

  i don't know what rutherford was expecting but instead of welcoming this "prince" to his new home he called the authorities to take him away.

  Questioning the 144K

  i've been considering the teachings of the 144k by the borg and am wondering why they allow women to partake especially considering revelation 14:4 which pretty much says the 144k are men who are virgins.

  have any of you given this any thought?.

  This was big on the new in germany, since he is making his movie here and scientology has its european center in berlin.
  It was also mentioned that he ranks nr.two in the cult, though not an official position, but he is the second most influential person within the cult.

  People here like his movies, but do his mission!

  Faithful and Discrete Slave

  if it is true that the slave class is here to lead the organization, and their numbers on earth are still in the thousands, why is it only just a handful at the headqtrs that send out the spiritual food?

  i have known many "annointed" ones over my course of involvement and none of them were ever called on for their input, guidance, counsel, etc... much less to have a turn to lead the work in ny.

  aren't they all supposed to be doing the guidance work on the earth?

  That experience was very disappointing for me, because as I walked up to him, I thought, wow, Im going to speak to someone who will be a king in heaven ranking higher then angels... and that's what I got! The disturbing part was that he didn't even care much to give me any kind of reassurance, even though he saw how exited I was as I had just "made the truth my own".
  In the end it was good, because that question (FDS - new light - how?) stayed in the back of my mind and became a big issue when I left. It took me about five years of being away, before I read apostate literature and was thrilled to finally get answers which made sense and confirmed my decision.

  When the Revelation book was released in the late 80's I was about 16 year and just got baptized, so I was 100 % WT. At the release of the new book and after looking at the fascinating pictures I went to an anointed brother to ask him about the picture of Jesus standing together with his bride holding hands on a clouds (it was the first time seeing jesus with white hair, so at first I thought it was jehovah:-0)
  Anyway, the 144k member told me he doesnt know until he reads the literatur himself. So I said, how can that be? You belong to the slave class who provides food at the proper time!
  He also couldn't answer how the new light comes about.

  Today I sometimes laugh thinking about the many silly wt teachings I so strongly believed in.

  Regarding your topic, there is a chapter on that in Ray Franz first book. Good read!

  and petrified... i just recently became a pioneer and always had nagging questions in the back of my mind.

  so, i decided that when i have get a study i would research all the questions as i go along so as to prove everything in the truth... i got 4 studies in about 2 months.

  all was fine, until i reached i think chapter 6 in the bible teach book about the resurrection.

  Not knowing the background of the poster of the "original" thread, i too would have thought it was a joke. (Im very happy she's better now and it was heartwarming to see the loving support she was given.)
  We can always apologize for a mistake, and i think Jeffs apology is genuine!
  No matter if new or long-time poster, we should all treat each other with respect.
  This troll-phobic behavior towards new posters can be damaging even dangerous to people who come here for help.

  1. bethel in ny suspect high level apostate, cant identify it but know its there.

  2. major organizational changes about to start rolling out, one is changes to the "service committee" and titles, po to be done away with, thats all i know for now.

  was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.
