  No matter how you put this... this was a true tragedy. Imagine what the spin would be if the autistic child had this happen while in the Kingdom Hall?!

  My gift to my hubby

  as many of you know, my husband is a disabled veteran.

  the truck that we have wasn't working out with his disability.

  we had a lift on the back, but it was taking more energy for him to use then he had.

  i was at a gas station the other day, and while i was pumping the fuel into my suv, i noticed a man standing at the far end of the gas station.

  i looked over at him, and he was dressed in khaki pants and a white shirt with a tie.

  i continued pumping my gas and then all of a sudden, the guy was behind me.

  Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been around for quite sometime, but this was just something that I couldn't keep quiet about. Hortensia, your little experience made me smile. It seems that no matter how remote you "think" that you are, they will find a way to get to you. I remember the times when I would go out in service when I was in my early 20's. I never thought of chasing anyone down to offer the "Awake" or "Watchtower" magazines. It's almost like it is an act of desperation. Whatever happened to being tactful?!

  I was at a gas station the other day, and while I was pumping the fuel into my SUV, I noticed a man standing at the far end of the gas station. I looked over at him, and he was dressed in khaki pants and a white shirt with a tie. I continued pumping my gas and then all of a sudden, the guy was behind me. He had a "Watchtower" and "Awake" magazine rolled up in his hand like he was about to beat a dog. He asked me in spanish if I spoke spanish. I said no and then he walked off to a car with heavily tinted windows. In that car was more witnesses. By the way... this was at 7:45 in the morning! They "scouted" other people for a few more minutes and then they drove off in brand new cars. I couldn't help but wonder what part time job they had in order to afford a new Toyota Camery and Mazda 5. I remember when I was growing up as a JW that it was preached to me that full time jobs got in the way of doing the ministry! My wife had told me that when she was walking to the supermarket, she was chased by witnesses who wanted to talk to her. What is going on?! Since when did JW's begin to ambush people in trying to talk about their message?

  JW's will never turn on the WT Society

  that is the conclusion i arrived at after watching the documentary , by alex gibney called, "the human behavior experiments" on the cable tv sundance channel tonight.. ------------------------------------------------------------.

  one person is taking a consumer survey in a closed room and sees smoke coming in under the door- they immediately get up , leave and call for help.. the experiment is repeated with three people, two of them are paid to sit and have no response to the smoke coming in under the door.

  the third person who is the test subject, fidgets, looks worried, and squirms as the smoke gets thicker.

  I also saw that episode where that young lady was stripped down, doing jumping jacks, spreading her legs, and giving that one fat guy a blow job. I was amazed at just how gullible she was and how she never questioned anything that she was doing or was asked to do. Where was she when I was in high school?! I am always amazed at how easily people within the Kingdom Hall or the WTS organization do things without any research or real thought. Everything is a mind dream.

  V for Vendetta-similarities in the government and WTBTS?

  just saw the movie v for vendetta, about a totalitarian government in the near-future england.

  somehow it reminded me of the wtbts, in that whenever something happened, they would have the media "spin" it to cast events in the best light for the government, and the worst for whoever else might be involved.

  anyone opposed to the government was automatically a criminal, terrorist, etc.

  I saw the movie and I thought that it reminded more about the current line of events here in the United States than anything about the WTBS. It was surely one of the best movies that I have seen all year!

  raised in the truth, (or joined later), but here we are, finding ourselves in our thirties, forties, or fifties....and the end hasn't come.

  This is a very interesting topic. I was just thinking about this the other day. I too was raised in the truth and I never thought that I would be seeing old age. I am 37 and I look like I am 30. I'm not complaining at all! I feel blessed that I have the wisdom that I have and still look the way that I do.

  Anniversary time again!

  my husband and i will be celebrating over 11 years of marriage and our anniversary is coming up.

  i should be excited but i am not.

  don't get me wrong, i love him dearly but i am already setting myself up for a disappointment.

  This really is an excellent find. Sad to say, this information will never see the light of day in the congregations. If this was a matter with the Catholic church, then you would see this printed in the next "Watchtower" or "Awake" magazines.

  MERRYS MOTHER HAS DIED

  merrymagdelene is back home and agreed to me letting you know that her mother died on friday morning...understandably she doesnt feel much like posting at the moment..but will let us know her feelings as soon as she is able...the memorial service will be held on the 29th... (((((merry))))))
