  What is your current status with the Watchtower Society and Congregation?

  i'm a baptized member considered ''inactive.

  '' i don't hand in ''service reports'',attend maybe 3 meetings a month,ain't signed up for the ministry school and will never attend any convention or the ''book study.

  '' always make the ''memorial.

  Inactive now, don't go regularly to the meetings. Do not do field circus. Do not go the Tuesday night sales meeting. All of my family is still in and so it goes i am still in. I would consider completely DA'ing if my wife would do the same. I am ready for whatever comes my way as a result of my decision to fade.

  I think that those of us who have spouses still in should stick together and continue to share ideas and experiences because they are very encouragin to me whether they are positve or negative.

  I was a pioneer, MS, Bethelite and am now 32 years old and was supposed to be born in the new system, never supposed to graduate high school, never supposed to have kids in this system. How many of those things do you think HAVE happened, and still no new system.

  i'm sorely tempted to picket the 2008 memorial.

  i will go in disguise and carry a placard with the words :-.

  "the governing body of jehovah's witnesses are false prophets.

  Did anyone see the video the guy from sixscreensofthewatchtower.com did last year at the memorial, it was really funny the way the people acted coming in to the hall!

  When one JW runs over another!

  the story was kept hushed up, much as in any 'abuse' case that goes on in the wt world but, jws don't like anything to make the wt society look bad.. one jw woman out on 'the misery', reversed into and dragged down the street another jw woman who then broke both arms, ribs, pelvis etc.

  infact, she is lucky to still be alive.

  this horror was not announced at any kh in the country and kept quiet.

  I worked for a JW contractor who was a PO. They deliberatly disabled the guard on a skill saw by screwing it to the main part of the saw thus keeping it from operating as it should. Me in my twentys just went along with it and literally cut my thumb off. Went through surgery and therapy to put it back on. After I quit working for him because he lied when he hired me, bills started coming to my parents house to be paid. My dad had to go and talk to him about paying them.

  The reason I tell you this is because I could have sued him into oblivion or owned his business but, we didn't cause we don't sue each other.

  New Bethel layoffs confirmed - we get our very own "special" pioneers!

  highlights from a recent letter addressed to our boe:.

  -- a married couple is leaving bethel, assigned to serve in our congregation as special pioneers.

  -- the society will pay them $600 per month, and in addition cover their health insurance .

  I think we should start a collection for them on JWD and forward it to them each month anonimously. Then we they do get jobs and the Borg cuts them off then we can come out of the closet and see what happens. Best case scenario is they see how those of us who left take care of those thrown away by the borg, worst case they send the money back.

  i thought it would be interesting to see just how many people have climbed aboard jwd within the last 6 months.

  it will give us an indication on how many people are actually coming away from the borg.. i may not be replying all the time but will pop in every day of so.. lets keep this thread going and use it to welcome new ones.

  News from Mother ship

  1. bethel in ny suspect high level apostate, cant identify it but know its there.

  2. major organizational changes about to start rolling out, one is changes to the "service committee" and titles, po to be done away with, thats all i know for now.

  was told that if you are the sort of person that cant handle changes, you wont stay in the org for long.

  In responce to what attorn said, it would be a travesty(sp) if this org split in two. That means that nobodys family would get out just be on one side or the other, with close to the same beliefs. Folks who are still in need religion. Those of us who are still in but mentally disconnected know that there can be life after the org.
